Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-layer ceramic capacitor printed simultaneously with internal electrode and external electrode by employing an inkjet printing. A method for manufacturing the multi-layer ceramic capacitor comprising first external electrode, dielectric, internal electrode and second external electrode prints simultaneously the first external electrode; the internal electrode which is connected with the first external electrode and formed at an invaginated portion of the dielectric invaginated to allow one side to be opened at one portion; and the second external electrode which is formed integrally with the internal electrode by employing an inkjet printing. According to the present invention, a method for manufacturing the multi-layer ceramic capacitor resolves contact problems by printing integrally the internal electrode and the external electrode and reduces the manufacturing process.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a high-density recording medium and a method and apparatus for controlling data playback thereof. Playback control information, such as channel bit length information, is recorded in a burst cutting area (BCA) of a high-density optical disc in a wobble type. When the high-density optical disc is reproduced, the playback control information is detected in a push-pull signal detection mode and the optimum data playback operation corresponding to the recording capacity of the optical disc is performed on the basis of the detected playback control information. Alternatively, bit error rates (BERs) are calculated while a plurality of predetermined bit detection modes are sequentially performed, one of the bit detection modes corresponding to the smallest one of the calculated BERs is selected and the data playback operation is performed in the selected bit detection mode. Therefore, it is possible to perform a data playback operation optimal to the recording capacity of a BD-ROM (Blu-ray Disc-ROM) even through disc information (DI) is recorded in a PIC (Permanent Information & Control data) zone of the BD-ROM in a recording format necessitating a decoding process and the recording capacity is any of different values such as 23 Gbytes, 25 Gbytes, 27 Gbytes, etc.
Abstract:
Lithium ion batteries having an anode comprising at least one graphene layer in electrical communication with titania to form a nanocomposite material, a cathode comprising a lithium olivine structure, and an electrolyte. The graphene layer has a carbon to oxygen ratio of between 15 to 1 and 500 to 1 and a surface area of between 400 and 2630 m2/g. The nanocomposite material has a specific capacity at least twice that of a titania material without graphene material at a charge/discharge rate greater than about 10 C. The olivine structure of the cathode of the lithium ion battery of the present invention is LiMPO4 where M is selected from the group consisting of Fe, Mn, Co, Ni and combinations thereof.
Abstract:
An input method and device of a portable terminal is disclosed. If the pressure value corresponding to a mechanical force applied to the external body of the portable terminal is equal to or less than a preset value, the portable terminal ascertains that the current state is a grip state. If the pressure value is greater than the preset value, the portable terminal ascertains that a current state is a squeeze state. The command generated according to the grip state and the squeeze state is applied to a currently enabled application program.
Abstract:
A portable terminal having plural input devices and a method for providing interaction thereof are provided. A method for providing interaction of a portable terminal having plural directional input devices, includes: receiving an interaction signal input from at least of the plural direction input devices; checking drive modes of the portable terminal; and executing a preset function by the drive modes corresponding to the interaction signal. The method may easily execute various functions through intuitive interaction using plural input devices thereby improving convenience for a user.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of recording control information in a recordable optical disc including at least one recording layer. In recording control information within a management area of an optical disc including at least one or more recording layers, the present invention includes providing the control information to each of the at least one or more recording layers per recording velocity, recording an information identifying a type of the corresponding control information within the control information, and recording a write strategy (WS) interworking with the type of the control information. In recording a write strategy (WS) within disc information, CLV and CAV are separately recorded, whereby it is able to efficiently cope with the record/playback of the optical disc.
Abstract:
A method of automatically controlling operation between mobile terminals and a terminal supporting the same provide for automatic operation control terminals to control each terminal to recognize a specific operation generated in the terminal. Terminals generating the same operation signal automatically activate a near-distance communication module, and automatically forms a communication channel based on the near-distance communication module.
Abstract:
Provided are a semiconductor device and a method of fabricating the same. The semiconductor device includes an insulating layer that is formed on a supporting layer and has a contact hole. A first contact plug is formed on an inner wall and bottom of the contact hole. A second contact plug buries the contact hole and is formed on the first contact plug. A conductive layer is connected to the first contact plug and the second contact plug. The bottom thickness of the first contact plug formed on the bottom of the contact hole is thicker than the inner wall thickness of the first contact plug formed on the inner wall of the contact hole.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal having a foldable display and an operation method for the same are disclosed. The foldable display unit includes a plurality of display zones, wherein the application of program depends on the degree of folding angle of the display unit, and the display unit displays on its screen according to the folding angle. Further, variations of closing and opening motion of the foldable display unit triggers different modes of operation and displays
