Abstract: The invention relates to an industrial fabric and its use. The industrial fabric (1) comprises several machine direction (MD) yarns (2, 2a, 2b) and several cross machine direction (CMD) yarns (3). The MD-yarns are twisted relative their longitudinal axis so that the twisted yams have sloped surfaces (4) at least on a web side surface (P) of the textile. The textile is usable in paper machine, pulp machine or filtering machine.

There are cooler modules on both sides of the fiber web. The cooler has a gas turn module located inside a curved fiber web run, which provides gas blows toward the curved fiber web during the run.

A guide element projects from the segment background surface (26) at the side edge which provides a guide surface that intensifies the feed of the material to be refined through the opening to the refining surface of the blade segment into the refining chamber of the refiner.

Abstract: A method for removing ammonia (NH3) from a gas produced in a pulp mill (100). The method comprises producing raw non-condensable gas comprising ammonia (NH3) in the pulp mill (100) and transferring at least some of the raw non-condensable gas to a scrubber (200) containing aqueous scrubbing solution (130, 140). The method comprises adding a compound capable of decreasing a pH of the scrubbing solution to the scmbbing solution (130, 140) and in the scrubber (200), contacting the raw non-condensable gas with the scmbbing solution (130, 140), to react the ammonia (NH3) of the raw non-condensable gas with the scmbbing solution to produce clean non-condensable gas and ammonium (NH4+). A pulp mill comprising equipment for performing the method.
