Abstract:
A device for mixing at least three products includes a first container for the separate packaging of at least a first and second product, a second container for storing a third product, and a coupling configured to couple the first and second containers to allow mixture of the first, second, and third products. The first container includes a first compartment configured to contain the first product and a second compartment configured to contain the second product isolated from the first product. The first container also includes a first open portion closed by a first cover and a second open portion closed by a second cover. The first and second open portions each communicate with the first and second compartments. The second container includes a third compartment configured to contain the third product to be mixed with the first and second products, and a dispensing orifice.
Abstract:
A dispensing device for dispensing a product includes a first chamber configured to initially contain at least one of a first composition and a mixture of the first composition and a second composition, a second chamber configured to contain the second composition, a flow passage for providing flow of the second composition from the second chamber to the first chamber, and an actuator configured to be actuated to cause an amount of a product to be dispensed from the first chamber. The product dispensed includes at least one of the first composition, the second composition, and the mixture of the first composition and the second composition. The device is configured such that in response to the product being dispensed from the first chamber, an amount of the second composition flows from the second chamber to the first chamber via the flow passage.
Abstract:
A container for containing a product includes a base including three sides and three faces extending from the base. The faces form an apex opposite to the base and each face has three sides. One of the sides of each face is adjacent to a respective one of the sides of the base and the other two sides of each face are adjacent to a respective one of the sides of another face. The container further includes first, second, and third sealed seams. The first sealed seam includes adjacent sides of two of the faces. The second and third sealed seams each include one of the sides of the base and the corresponding adjacent side of one of the faces.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a product onto a product sampler may comprise a dispensing member configured to be connected to a product receptacle and at least one outlet orifice in flow communication with the dispensing member. The device may also comprise an actuator element configured to actuate the dispensing member and a locking element. The locking element may have a first position in which the dispensing member cannot be actuated and a second position in which the dispensing member can be actuated. Additionally, the locking element may move from the first position to the second position when the product sampler is placed in front of the at least one outlet orifice.
Abstract:
A container includes a body having at least one wall defining an open area for containing fluid and a member. The body includes a guiding portion for guiding removal of an applicator from the container along a predetermined path and an opening permitting access to the open area of the body. The member includes a wiping portion having an open end. The wiping portion is shaped so that as the applicator is removed from the container along the predetermined path the wiping portion wipes at least two opposed points on a transverse section of the applicator. Also disclosed are systems and methods for dispensing fluid from the container.
Abstract:
An assembly for the application of a product includes a container (104) which contains a product to be dispensed and is provided with an outlet for the product, and a component (114) for applying the product, which has an application surface (118) and a peripheral edge (122). The component includes a region (126) in communication with the product outlet of the container. The application component comprises a part (127), separate from the application component, which limits the radial diffusion of the product in the application component, this part being located between the region and the peripheral edge of the application component.
Abstract:
A container for a product of a liquid-to-pasty consistency, having at least one longitudinal strip which is of a color and/or appearance different from a color and/or appearance of a remainder of the container and which is delimited by two lateral edges. The lateral edges of the longitudinal strip or strips are situated substantially within longitudinal grooves so as to conceal any variations of width of the longitudinal strip. The container can be constructed of thermoplastic material in an injection molding device.
Abstract:
A device (1) for applying a hair product to tresses includes a tip (12) for separating a given tress (21) of a head of hair, rows of teeth (5) capable of being charged with a hair product, the application of the hair product to the separated tress being effected by bringing the tress into application contact at a given point of the tress with the teeth (5) and by displacing the teeth (5) relative to the tress from the given point towards the free end of the tress. A part (3, 13) of the device 1 keeps the tress in application contact with the teeth (5) during the whole of the displacement.
Abstract:
A system for applying product to keratinous fibers includes an applicator and a container. The applicator includes an applicating member having an applicating surface configured to contact a lock of keratinous fibers and to apply product to the lock. The applicator also includes a positioning member that opposes at least a portion of the applicating surface and is configured to position the lock on the portion of the applicating surface when the applicating member is moved along the lock from the base of the lock to the tip of the lock. The container includes a reservoir and a receiving element. The reservoir has an interior configured to contain product and an opening permitting placement of the applicating member in the interior of the reservoir. The receiving element is configured to receive the positioning member and to locate the positioning member outside of the interior of the reservoir when the applicating member is in the interior of the reservoir. Methods for applying product to keratinous fibers using an application system are also provided.
