Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing downlink and uplink scheduling in communication above 52.6 GHz. For example, some aspects of this disclosure relate to a base station. The base station includes a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless network with a user equipment (UE) and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor determines that the communication between the base station and the UE is in a frequency range above 52.6 GHz. In response to the determination, the processor disables a frequency main resource assignment (FDRA), modifies a Resource Block Group (RBG) size, or modifies a Resource Indication Value (RIV) determination. The processor generates a Downlink Channel Indicator (DCI) based at least on one or more of the disabled FDRA, the modified RBG size, or the modified RIV determination. The processor transmits, using the transceiver, the DCI to the UE.

The UE decodes a second configuration information from the network device. The second configuration information indicates a reference slot and a first slot offset of the first list of slot offsets. The UE generates the AP-SRS for transmission to the network device based on the reference slot and the first slot offset.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for narrowband reference signals transmission. A base station is configured to: generate downlink transmissions for unlicensed Internet of things (U-IoT) communication, the downlink transmissions to include an anchor segment on a first plurality of subframes and a data segment on a second plurality of subframes, wherein the anchor segment includes a narrowband reference signal (NRS) configured to be transmitted at a first transmit power by the base station, to facilitate time or frequency tracking and cause transmission of the downlink frame for the U-IoT communication. Abstract: The disclosure describes frame structure with downlink/uplink subframe configuration and channel hopping scheme for unlicensed narrowband Internet-of-Things (IoT) systems. An apparatus operable for unlicensed narrowband transmission to support IoT service is disclosed. The apparatus includes baseband circuitry to select a transmission channel within an unlicensed narrow band for downlink transmission of a discovery reference signal (DRS), and for channel hopping, to select, according to the DRS, a communication channel within the unlicensed narrow band for downlink data and uplink data. The DRS includes a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) and physical broadcast channel (PBCH) content. The baseband circuitry is further to demodulate a received signal received via radio frequency (RF) circuitry through the communication channel over an uplink frame, and to modulate a transmitting signal to be transmitted via the RF circuitry through the communication channel over a downlink frame.
