Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for CSI enhancement for multi-TRP coherent joint transmission. A user equipment (UE) receives signals from a plurality of transmission and reception points (TRPs). The UE determines, based on the signals, multiple TRP (multi-TRP) coherent joint transmission (CJT) channel state information (CSI) report information for a codebook based on a spatial basis selection matrix, a combination coefficient matrix, and a frequency basis selection matrix. The spatial basis selection matrix is layer common, polarization common, and TRP independent. The UE reports, to one or more of the plurality of TRPs, the multi-TRP CJT CSI report information.

The first configuration information indicates a first resource set for an aperiodic Sounding Reference Signal (AP-SRS). The first resource set for the AP-SRS includes a first list of slot offsets. The UE decodes a second configuration information from the network device. The second configuration information indicates a reference slot and a first slot offset of the first list of slot offsets. The UE generates the AP-SRS for transmission to the network device based on the reference slot and the first slot offset.

Abstract: A cellular base station (BS) which transmits more flexible downlink control information (DCI) to the UE, and a UE capable of receiving and processing a received DCI message. The DCI message may have a DCI format of 0_1 or 0_2 and further may comprise an UL-SCH set to 0, a CSI request field of all 0s and an SRS request field having a nonzero value. The DCI message may indicate to the UE that the UE should: 1) transmit an aperiodic SRS corresponding to SRS request; and 2) that the UE should not transmit on the PUSCH. The DCI may include existing fields that specify either a slot offset or beam information useable when transmitting the aperiodic SRS. The base station may also generate a DCI message with an SRS trigger that is targeted to a plurality of UEs in a group, or a plurality of groups of UEs, for greater efficiency.

Effects of a bandwidth part change (in UL or downlink (DL)) occurring near or during the DCI, the multi-PDSCH, and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) containing the ACK/NACK signaling (e.g., containing or corresponding to all or part of the HARQ-ACK codebook) are discussed.

Abstract: Devices and methods of using xSS are generally disclosed. A UE receives an xPSS with (Nrep) symbols each with a subcarrier spacing of K×a PSS subcarrier spacing and a duration of a PSS symbol/K. PSD subcarriers surround the xPSS and the ZC sequence is punctured to avoid transmission on a DC subcarrier. Guard subcarriers separate the xPSS and PSD when the ZC sequence is less than the occupied BW of the xPSS and at least one element in the ZC sequence is punctured for xPSS symbol generation otherwise. One or more xSSSs and xS-SCHs may follow the xPSS.
