摘要： A two-piece reinforcement assembly and method for producing the same are provided. The two-piece reinforcement units include first and second half-members, preformed from respective single pieces of material. Assembled two-piece reinforcement units have half-members which are inverted and bonded together. Each of the two-piece reinforcement units includes at least one chamber defined by the bonded half-members. The reinforcement units further include a base portion and an offset portion which are connected by intersection portions on opposing ends of an angular portion. The half-members are bonded at their respective base portions. Each half-member further includes an end portion, which may be substantially perpendicular to the base portion. Further embodiments may include indentations in one of the intersections of the angular portion, and may be tapered along the angular portion from the base portion to the offset portion.

摘要： A method for identifying shampoo-resistant hair-binding peptides is described. The shampoo-resistant hair-binding peptides bind strongly to hair from a shampoo matrix and are stable therein. Peptide-based benefit agents, such as peptide-based hair conditioners and hair colorants, based on the shampoo-resistant hair binding peptides are described. The peptide-based hair conditioners and hair colorants consist of a shampoo-resistant hair-binding peptide coupled to a hair conditioning agent or a coloring agent, respectively. Hair care and hair coloring product compositions comprising these peptide-based hair conditioners and colorants are also described.

The peptide-based hair reagents include peptide-based hair conditioners and hair colorants. The peptide-based hair conditioners and hair colorants are comprised of at least one hair-binding peptide coupled to a hair conditioning agent or a coloring agent, respectively.

摘要： A block molded from a polymeric material has a through passageway to contain a percussive shock wave. Angularly related channels communicate with the containment passageway for receiving arcuate segments of detonation cord. Alignment of a plurality of blocks provides a convenient packaging setup for the cord. A percussive signal traveling along the cord can be short-circuited in the packaging setup. A diode version of the block can react to the signal in a given direction of travel.

摘要： Percussive signal transmission tubes, of contrasting color, are joined along adjacent longitudinally extending portions by an adhesive bead of polymeric material. The tubes can be separated in the field and are provided on spools without any sheath. A small diameter (0.10 inch) tube can be used to reduce the size of the spool, or increase the length of tubing wound on the spool. An apparatus for assembling the product is also disclosed.
