A method for reading input/output port data is provided. In the present method, a write trap procedure is enabled so that the data is stored in a buffer first when there is data to be written in the input/output port. Then, a read trap procedure is enabled so that the data stored in the buffer is read out and used as the data of the input/output port when there is a need to read the data of the input/output port. Therefore, the defect in the prior art that the basic input/output system (BIOS) in a direct input/output mode can only be written in but cannot be read out is resolved.

The data processing device is coupled to at least one peripheral device with a configuration memory module and a corresponding configuration memory module setup program. The method checks the authority of the user. The authorized user is allowed to set identification and activation codes of the configuration memory module setup program to be disabled. When the BIOS of the data processing device detects the configuration memory module during POST, it is determined whether the identification code of the configuration memory module matches with the identification code set by the user. If so, then the configuration memory module setup program is disabled and the configuration setup procedure for the peripheral device is performed via the main OS setup program upon receiving the corresponding activation code inputted by the user.

The first and second nodes share the power supply. The method includes the following steps. A power-off process is performed by the first and second nodes respectively according to a power-off signal. An interception process is activated to intercept a completion signal generated in the power-off process, and an interrupt is triggered. The interrupt is performed by an interrupt handler, so as to detect whether the first and second nodes complete a power-off process. When the first and second nodes already complete the power-off process, the interception process is inactivated and the generated completion signal is recovered and transferred to the power supply for turning off a power.

During a BIOS power-on self test, a running operating system predetermined index is obtained from a memory. An optimal system setting parameter corresponding to the running operating system predetermined index is obtained. The computer system is automatically set up according to the optimal system setting parameter. A booting process is performed to start an operating system. An operating system index of the operating system is obtained. The operating system index is compared with the running operating system predetermined index. When the operating system index is not equal to the running operating system predetermined index, a system setting warning is issued. The running operating system predetermined index is updated by using the operating system index as the updated running operating system predetermined index in the memory.

This present disclosure relates to conductive aluminum paste for fabricating a silicon solar cell. Herein, the conductive aluminum paste is composed of organic carrier, aluminum powder, nano-scale metal particle, and glass frit, wherein the nano-scale metal particle has a particle size distribution D50 in the range from 10 nanometers to 1000 nanometers and the weight percentage of the nano-scale metal particle associated with the conductive aluminum paste is around 0.1 through 10 wt %. Furthermore, the characteristics of the conductive aluminum paste are for reducing the sheet resistance value of the electrode, increasing the adhesion in the silicon solar cell package module, and enhancing the electro-optical conversion efficiency of the silicon solar cell.

A basic input/output system (BIOS) capable of supporting multi-platforms and a constructing method thereof are provided. In the method, a plurality of segment modules is provided, and each of the segment modules includes more than one BIOS module. A module header is established for each of the BIOS modules and records an application platform identifier (ID) of an applicable platform of the corresponding BIOS module and module type data of the corresponding BIOS module. The segment modules are then integrated according to a design structure of the BIOS. The segment modules are classified into a main system module, a plurality of slave segment modules, and a reset entry segment module. When the reset entry segment module obtains a platform ID of an electronic equipment currently configured with the BIOS, the main system module pre-stores an execution sequence according to the platform ID, and sequentially runs the BIOS modules matching with the platform ID.
