    摘要: A method of producing a catalyst suitable for use in a membrane electrode assembly involves providing a mixture comprising a polyaniline precursor and a catalyst support; adding to said mixture an oxidant and a compound comprising a transition metal; agitating said mixture sufficiently to result in polyaniline polymerization; drying the mixture; heating the dried mixture in an inert atmosphere at a temperature of from about 400° C. to about 1000° C.; leaching the mixture with an acid solution; heating the resulting mixture in an inert atmosphere at a temperature of from about 400° C. to about 1000° C. The second heating improves the performance of the catalyst.

    摘要: The present invention provides a space-time-frequency encoding and decoding method and apparatus used in a wireless communication system. With the encoding method provided in the invention, transmission code words and their redundant elements are properly allocated on space-time-frequency units, so that the transmission codes and their partial redundancies can be transmitted via different antennas. Accordingly, at the receiving side, the redundant elements and the corresponding code word elements can be combined, so as to enhance the SNR and diversity gains for a part of the elements in the code words, and hence enhance the reception quality for the overall data stream.

    摘要: Channel scanning for wireless networks, such as Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs), generally provides a wireless station with the information on the available WLAN resources, such as the frequency band and the maximum transmission power. The present invention provides safe and fast domain-aware channel scanning, enabling a wireless station to comply with applicable local regulations, in spite of the possibility of domain changes, with short channel-scanning time. Fast channel scanning is accomplished by active channel scanning if valid domain information is available and there is no possibility of domain change. Also, domain-independent channels, if any, are first scanned using active scan to get domain information faster.
