Abstract:
A semiconductor wafer chuck for retaining a semiconductor wafer during semiconductor wafer processing in a semiconductor wafer processing system including a connector connecting DC chucking voltage and RF biasing power to an electrode embedded in the body of the chuck. The connector for the chuck includes two or more members joined by resilient banana connections. The connector may be adapted for use as a high temperature connector for an electrostatic chuck operated at an elevated temperature and such connector includes a thermal impedance for reducing the heat transferred from the chuck to the bottom of the connector.
Abstract:
A gate valve assembly having a primary and secondary seating surface for preventing process fluids from contacting the seals of the valve is provided. Additionally, a purge gas inlet can be disposed in the valve body to prevent process gases from contacting the seals during operation. Still further, a primary and secondary barrier seal may be provided to prevent process gases from contacting the primary seal. Additionally, a purge gas inlet can be disposed between the primary and secondary seals to further prevent process gases from contacting the primary seal.
Abstract:
A telephone system with a video camera is connected to an integrated services digital network (ISDN) via a facility (EIN). To that end, the facility (EIN), for example, comprises an audio unit (AUD1) for coupling the audio signals from the door intercommunication system to the digital network (ISDN), a video unit (VID1) for coupling the video signals from the video camera to the digital network (ISDN), a control unit (CTRL) for transmitting a request signal to establish a switched connection for transmitting the video and audio signals via the digital network (ISDN) in case of an activation of the door intercommunication system, and to receive control signals and transmit the control signals without breaking the switched connection to at least one remotely controllable unit (UNIT) and to an ISDN video telephone with programmed call forwarding. From his ISDN video telephone the occupant of an apartment is able to identify a visitor to his apartment through a video image and to activate the door opener by means of control signals without breaking the switched connection, and switch over to a second video camera and a second intercom station inside the apartment, and in this way check on the visitor even after he has entered the apartment, or communicate with him via the ISDN video telephone.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor element, particularly for an electrochemical measuring sensor, for determining the oxygen content of gases, having a first electrode, which is exposed to a gas to be measured, a second electrode, which is exposed to a reference gas, a heating device for the sensor element and a reference gas conduit extending between the heating device and the second electrode. It is provided that the reference gas conduit (20) is configured so as to be branched at least in the region of the heating device (30).
Abstract:
The invention is based on a planar sensor element for determining the oxygen content of gas mixtures, particularly in internal combustion engines such as those found in automobiles. The sensor element comprises a measuring cell and an integrated heat conductor embedded in electric insulation all of which rest on a solid electrolyte substrate. At least one hollow chamber separates one or several parts of the insulation from the solid electrolyte substrate in order to effect an improved decoupling of the sensor's heat conductor from its measuring cell.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a transdermal therapeutical system for the administration of physostigmine to the skin via a backing layer which is impermeable to active substances, an active substance deposit comprising at least one auxiliary agent with supporting and distributing function in the form of a textile fabric material, a matrix surrounding said deposit from all sides, and optionally a removable protective layer, the matrix of which comprises 10-90%-wt polymeric material selected from the group consisting of polymers on the basis of acrylate and/or methacrylate and esters of hydrogenated colophonium, 0-30%-wt softener on the basis of hydrocarbons and/or esters, and that the active substance deposit immediately after its production comprises 15-85%-wt of a 0.1-70%-wt physostigmine solution.
Abstract:
A machine for sewing together two workpiece parts having edges of equal or unequal length by using a bead seam, especially for joining together the edge of a vamp and the shorter edge of a plug of a true moccasin shoe, so that the length of the plug matches that of the longer edge of the vamp, in only one operation. The bead seam forming device essentially consists of a folding finger acting in front of the needle of the sewing machine and in synchronous driving connection with the needle; several machines are described which are provided with different bead seam forming devices.
Abstract:
An electrode for a primary cell is produced by first mixing a solid depolarizer, carbon, and a water-insoluble organic polymer binder. The mixture is then molded into an electrode body. The binder is in the mixture in the form of a dispersion in a hydrophilic medium.
Abstract:
The technology disclosed herein provides various embodiments for mapping glints that reflect off from an object to light sources responsible for the glints. Embodiments disclosed herein are able to correctly map glints to light sources by capturing just a few images with a camera. Each image is captured while illuminating the object with a different pattern of light sources. A glint free image may also be determined. A glint free image is one in which the glints have been removed by image processing techniques.
Abstract:
Embodiments are directed to maintaining layout properties when aliasing a live element and to independently inheriting animation properties using aliases. In one scenario, a computer system generates aliases for a live element displayed in a user interface (UI). The aliases represent the live element in a UI layout which includes live element properties that are inherited hierarchically. The computer system removes the live element from the UI such that the live element is no longer visible on the UI, and integrates the generated aliases into the UI layout. The aliases inherit properties of the UI layout depending on where in the layout the alias was attached. The computer system then initiates an animation for the live element using the aliases which are integrated into the UI layout according to the properties inherited from the position of the aliases in the layout.
