    摘要: A Flip-up Shirt Collar Brace. The preferred brace resides invisibly beneath and behind the user's shirt collar when not in use. When desired, the user can flip up his or her collar and an appendage from the brace, and thereby hold the shirt collar up. The brace includes an envelope-shaped member that attaches either permanently or detachably to the collar band of the user's shirt. The envelope forms an internal chamber between a pair of opposing wall members that are made from resilient material, such as plastic or the like. The base envelope is defined by an aperture formed therein, and through which protrudes a brace tab that is operable between a down position and an up position. In the up position, the brace tab will prop the users shirt collar flap up so as to cover the back of the user's neck.

Monitoring time out intervals for the events includes receiving a request to determine if events in the storage area network have timed out, identifying events associated with a current time slot, determining if the identified current time slot is empty, removing events from the identified current time slot in response to the determination and notifying a time-out handler to perform appropriate time-out related processing.

    摘要: The present invention is generally directed to a system and method in which a second application (the “keep-alive function”) sends a ping, message or other signal to a first application to prevent the first application from being timed out (hereinafter, “keep-alive input”). In an embodiment of the invention, the first application is queried as to the appropriate content and format of a timeout period restart message. The keep-alive function may be automatically executed upon the occurrence of a triggering event.
