    摘要: The present invention provides a system for analyzing an expression profile in which a large number of expression profile data obtained by a next-generation high-speed sequencer, a similar experimental technique, or the like is analyzed at high speed by a general-purpose computer, gene expression patterns are visualized, thereby easily analyzing to which gene a novel gene is similar in function. A system for analyzing an expression profile which analyzes gene expression profile data includes a storage unit which stores the number of counts of mRNAs expressed from a subject gene to be evaluated as expression data under each of a plurality of gene expression conditions for each subject gene name, a correspondence analysis unit which reads the expression data from the storage unit for each subject gene, and carries out correspondence analysis on the basis of the number of counts under each expression condition in expression data, a coordinate conversion unit which converts n-dimensional (n: natural number) scores obtained by the correspondence analysis to coordinate values for m-dimensionally (m: natural number, m≦n) arranging each subject gene, and an image processing unit which carries out plotting along the corresponding coordinate values for each gene to display the result on an image display unit.

    摘要: An image processing method is applied for recording an image on a recording medium using a plurality of color materials including a chromatic material and an achromatic material. A total amount of recording of the chromatic material is smaller than a total amount of recording of the achromatic material, and a plurality of monochrome modes including a first monochrome mode and a second monochrome mode are provided, the total amount of recording of the chromatic material being different for each of the monochrome modes. The image processing method includes adjusting the amount of recording of the achromatic material so that a recording density of an image recorded in the first monochrome mode and a recording density of an image recorded in the second monochrome mode become equivalent to each other with respect to the same luminance signal.

    摘要: When a digital camera and printer are directly connected via a communication interface, and a recording process in the printer is interrupted while transmitting image data from the camera to the printer and recording the image data, the camera designates the restart of the recording process and it is determined whether the printer is of a type capable of restarting the recording process. In a case where the printer is determined to be the type capable of restarting the recording process and a DPOF (digital print order format) file is being printed, the DPOF file is resent to designate printing from a page next to the printed page. In a mode in which image data are sequentially transmitted to the printer and printed, a print process of image data subsequent to the printed image data is designated.
