Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes processing a tagged data unit (TDU) by reading a metadata tag of a received TDU and determining whether the TDU is an excluded TDU or an included TDU. An included TDU is a TDU that is to be included in usage summary information contained in a usage receiver (UR) record. An excluded TDU is a TDU that is not to be included in the usage summary information. Responsive to determining that the TDU is an included TDU, the method includes the information related to the TDU into the usage summary information. Responsive to determining that the TDU is an excluded TDU, the method excludes the information related to the excluded TDU from the usage summary information. Reportable usage summary information is generated from information in the UR record, and, once a reporting criterion is met, the reportable usage summary information is transmitted to the UR.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to display region filtering. A pixel priority value for each of a plurality of pixels on a display region are assigned in response to identifying portions of the display region for prioritization, wherein the pixel priority values indicate a relative importance of each of the pixels, respectively, for viewing based on a magnitude of the pixel priority values. The pixel priority value of each pixel is compared to a first pixel priority threshold to identify pixels of the plurality of pixels having pixel priority values which do not satisfy the first pixel priority threshold. The pixels of the plurality of pixels having pixel priority values which do not satisfy the first pixel priority threshold are deactivated, wherein a subset of pixels satisfies the first pixel priority threshold and remain active.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention may provide an approach for adjusting administrative access based upon migration of a workload from one system to another. The method further may include adjusting access rights of the administrator for compatibility with the target system. Abstract: A wireless technology device and method for securely communicating a status of a wireless technology device to a non-paired device, includes detecting a status changing event of the wireless technology device, locking the wireless technology device from an unauthorized pairing with another device, in response to detecting the status changing event, sending an encrypted data regarding the status changing event to at least one non-paired device, which is received in a buffer of the at least one non-paired device, wherein, in response to receiving the encrypted data, the at least one non-paired device automatically communicates the encrypted data to a centralized computing network for decrypting the encrypted data, and unlocking the wireless technology device when an authorized pairing attempt is successful.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing security to access and store data may include transferring first information for display from a token device having a memory to a first computing device at a first time, the token device connected to the first computing device and the first information describing public data stored on the token device. A request to retrieve a root directory of private data may be received, the request specifying a root directory name. In response to receiving the request to retrieve a root directory of private data, the root directory may be requested by establishing a wireless connection between the token device and a server computing device, transferring the root directory name to the server computing device, wherein the root directory name is used as a password to retrieve the root directory, and receiving the root directory from the server computing device by the token device.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide approaches for interacting with data fields on a page using an augmented reality (AR) device. Specifically, a way for a user to interact with a page having preprinted content and a user's handwritten content within a real world scene using a display screen of the AR device is provided. An image capture unit of the AR device captures image data representing the page. A processing unit performs a page scan of the captured image data to determine a set of data fields located on the page. Context data for at least one data field within the page is received by the processing unit. Augmented reality content based on the context data is incorporated into the page when viewing the page through the display screen.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed to reflect status in a virtual environment. An artist associated with audio content being played by a first user controlling a player avatar is determined. A companion avatar providing a virtual representation of the artist of the audio content is generated. The companion avatar is associated with the player avatar in the virtual environment. Abstract: A usage allocation of a hardware resource to each of a number of workloads over time is determined using a demand model. The usage allocation of the resource includes a current and past actual usage allocation of the resource, a future projected usage allocation of the resource, and current and past actual usage of the resource. A capacity allocation of the resource is determined using a capacity model. The capacity allocation of the resource includes a current and past capacity and a future projected capacity of the resource. Whether a gap exists between the usage allocation and the capacity allocation is determined using a mapping model. Where the gap exists between the usage allocation of the resource and the capacity allocation of the resource, a user is presented with options determined using the mapping model and selectable by the user to implement a remediation strategy to close the gap.
