摘要： A connector is provided with a connector housing including one or more terminal housing chambers each including a first open end and a second open end; and one or more terminals each comprising a contact portion at a distal end thereof for contacting the opposite terminal and a solder tail extended from a proximal end thereof. The terminals are respectively housed in the terminal housing chambers with setting the distal ends thereof directed to the first open ends. Each terminal has a length so that the proximal end thereof reaches the same level as or protrudes from the second open end when the terminal is completely housed in the respective terminal housing chamber.

摘要： A lever fitting type connector (10) has a lever (40) provided with a rotation fulcrum portion (41), an application point portion (42) and an operation portion (43), which is interposed between a first connector (20) and a second connector (30). The rotation fulcrum portion (41) of the lever (40) is pivoted in a rotating manner to the first connector (20). In a state that both of the connectors are separated, an initial mounting position of the lever (40) is arranged substantially in parallel to a width direction of the first connector (20). A positional relation among the rotation fulcrum portion (41), the application point portion (42) and the operation portion (43) is constituted such that a fitting force is generated by an operation force in a drawing direction applied to the operation portion (43). After mutually inserting both of the connectors (20, 30) to a lever operation starting position, the operation force in the drawing direction is applied to the operation portion (43). Accordingly, the connectors (20, 30) are regularly fitting.

摘要： A lever fitting-type connector, wherein an operating force, required for pivotally moving a lever by leverage, so as to fit a connector into a mating connector, is reduced. A lever (22) is pivotally mounted on bosses (28) formed on a male connector (21), and the male connector (21) is fitted into a female (mating) connector (23) by pivotally moving the lever (22) with the bosses (28) serving as an application point. An operating portion (30), serving as a force-applying point for the pivotal movement of the lever (22), is formed at a rear end portion of the lever (22). Engagement projections (33) are formed respectively on opposite side walls (29) of the lever (22), and are disposed rather close to the bosses (28), respectively. Retaining holes (34) are formed in the mating connector (23), and the engagement projections (33) are retainingly engaged respectively in the retaining holes (34), so that the engagement projections (33) serve as a supporting point for the pivotal movement of the lever (22).

摘要： A combined-type connector consists of a hood having at the front half a first connector-fitting chamber and at the rear half a side opening in a direction perpendicular to a connector-fitting direction; and a connector with a connector-fitting section having a second connector-fitting chamber formed therein. The connector-fitting section of the connector is inserted through the side opening into combination with the hood, moved in the direction perpendicular to the connector-fitting direction in which the connector is fitted with a mating connector. The hood and the connector can be easily combined and disassembled, though not disassembled under a force acting in the detaching direction of the connector from the mating connector.
