摘要： A reference-voltage generator controls the level of a reference voltage in dependence upon temperature, and a drive-current supply unit passes a drive current through a semiconductor laser when the voltage of an input signal is greater than (or less than) the reference voltage. Even if a threshold-value current of the semiconductor laser increases owing to a rise in ambient temperature, as a result of which there is an increase in the delay time of the optical power waveform of the laser, the reference voltage declines in conformity with the temperature rise and the time at which drive current begins to flow into the semiconductor laser is made earlier. This offsets the delay time so that a stabilized optical power waveform and optical output power are generated. In addition, a drive-current controller increases the value of drive current in conformity with a rise in temperature. As a result, the drive current which flows through the semiconductor laser increases in dependence upon the temperature rise. A stabilized optical output power is thus generated.

摘要： A harness protecting device of a steering column having a telescopic function includes a protector, having a cable penetrating section in the front and the rear, equipped so as to contract and expand at will across the fixing and moving sides of the steering column having the telescopic function. A pair of flexible bow-like holders in the protector, for dividing a plurality of single core cables from the penetrating section, into two in the width direction of the protector in order to retain the cables. The cables, which are connected to electrical equipment attached to the moving side of the steering column, and which are wired along the steering column, are wired along the bow-like holders in the protector so as to contract and expand. Further, the harness protecting device includes a connecting part, with bifurcated connecting rods, equipped to the moving side of the steering column, and a box-like fixing housing which is equipped to the fixing side of the steering column, and which is slidably connected to the connecting rods of the connecting part. The cables are housed in a space partitioned by the connecting part and the fixing housing, and are arranged so as to contract and expand in the width direction of the fixing housing in the space.

A wavelength controller outputs the wavelength control signal, and a filter unit subjects the wavelength control signal to a filtering process to remove high-frequency noise superimposed on the wavelength control signal. The filter unit stops the filtering process during the wavelength control and executes the filtering process during the operation.
