摘要： An image recording apparatus including a housing; a recording head which ejects droplets of ink; a carriage which is provided in the housing and which carries the recording head and reciprocates in opposite directions; an ink supply tube which is connected, at one end thereof, to a tube connection portion of the carriage so as to supply the ink to the recording head, and is fixed, at a fixed portion thereof, to the housing such that an intermediate portion thereof located between the one end thereof and the fixed portion thereof forms a curved portion convex in one of the opposite directions, wherein the ink supply tube has a flexibility assuring that when the carriage reciprocates, the ink supply tube follows reciprocation of the carriage while the curved portion thereof changes a shape thereof; a pivotable support member which is supported by the housing such that the support member is pivotable about a supporting point, wherein the support member includes an arm portion having a support portion that supports a portion of the curved portion of the ink supply tube; and a stopper member which is fixed to a predetermined portion of the ink supply tube that is located between the support portion and the tube connection portion, and which, when the ink supply tube moves relative to the support portion, engages the support portion so as to inhibit an excessive movement of the ink supply tube relative to the support portion.

摘要： An image-recording device including a carriage, a recording head, a guide rail, a flexible flat cable, a flexible ink supply tubes, and a top cover. The recording head is provided at the carriage. The guide rail extends in a widthwise direction of a recording medium fed in a feeding direction perpendicular to the widthwise direction. The flat cable has a broad surface extending in a horizontal direction and bent into U-shape so that an upper region of the flat cable faces the top cover whereas a lower region of the flat cable faces the base. The carriage is reciprocally movable in the widthwise direction. The flat cable is oriented upward from the carriage at a prescribed angle with respect to a horizontal plane and extends in the widthwise direction, so that at least the U-shaped bent portion of the flat cable is in continuous contact with the top cover.

摘要： A printer includes a print head including nozzles that eject ink on a recording medium sheet, first and second rollers provided on a sheet feeding path for feeding the sheet therealong, a platen provided between the first and second rollers for guiding the sheet on the sheet feeding path, and a guide roller disposed between the nozzles and the second roller on the feeding path. A rotation axis of the guide roller is fixed with respect to the feeding path. The guide roller disposed as above restricts the movement of the sheet in a direction away from the platen and thereby prevents the sheet from floating on the platen.

摘要： An image recording device may include corrugate mechanisms to prevent undesired bending and jamming of a recording sheet. In some examples, the image recording device may include a first corrugate mechanism, a second corrugate mechanism and a third corrugate mechanism. The first, second and third corrugate mechanisms may be configured to create a corrugated shape in a recording sheet. The second and third corrugate mechanisms, in one or more arrangements, may be located downstream of the first corrugate mechanism and an ink nozzle. The third corrugate mechanism may further be configured such that no upper contact portion thereof may be disposed at a same position, with respect to the width direction, as endmost upper contact portions of the first corrugate mechanism with respect to the width direction. In yet other examples, the third corrugate mechanism may be located downstream of a reverse sheet conveying path.

The sheet tray is inserted into and pulled out from an accommodating portion along an inserting direction. A main tray of the sheet tray is positioned at a first position and at a second position located downstream of the first position in the inserting direction as a result of movement of the main tray in the inserting direction. An extension tray of the sheet tray is movable relative to the main tray. The drawing portion draws the main tray from the first position into the second position. The first stop portion is disposed in the accommodating portion and abuttable against the extension tray when the main tray is located downstream of the first position in the inserting direction to restrict movement of the extension tray in the inserting direction.
