Abstract:
A method for a station (STA) to operate in a power saving (PS) mode in a wireless LAN system that supports a high efficiency physical layer protocol data unit (HE PPDU), in one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: receiving a trigger frame which assigns a resource for transmission of an uplink multi-user (UL MU) PPDU; and determining whether to perform transition to a doze state on the basis of the trigger frame, wherein when the resource is not assigned to the STA through the trigger frame, the STA determines to perform transition to a doze state during a time period determined on the basis of an indicator information value of the trigger frame.
Abstract:
A UL MU transmission method of an STA operating in a power save mode, and a device for performing the method are disclosed. The UL MU transmission method of an STA operating in a power save mode can comprise the steps of: transmitting, by a STA, a TWT request element to an AP; receiving, by the STA, a TWT response element from the AP as a response to the TWT request element, wherein the TWT response element includes information on a target wake time; switching, by the STA, from a dose state to an awake state on the basis of the target wake time so as to receive a beacon frame from the AP; receiving, by the STA, a trigger frame from the AP on the basis of TWT information of the beacon frame; and transmitting, by the STA, an uplink frame to the AP on the basis of the trigger frame by using an UL MU transmission.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for performing a clear channel assessment (CCA) by STA in a wireless communication system, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a frame including a coloring bit; changing a CCA level to a first level when the coloring bit indicates a basic service set (BSS) to which the STA belongs, and changing a CCA level to a second level when the coloring bit indicates a BSS to which the STA does not belong; and performing the CCA according to the first level or the second level, wherein when the frame has an OFDM-based format, the frame includes a coloring disable bit, and when the coloring disable bit indicates that the frame is a multiuser transmission-related trigger frame, the STA does not perform a change of the CCA level without regard to information indicated by the coloring bit.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for power save mode operation on the basis of a frame transmitted from another BSS in a wireless LAN. A method for operating an STA in a wireless LAN in a power save mode comprises: a step in which the STA receives a beacon frame from an AP, the beacon frame comprising a TIM element indicating downlink data pending in the STA; a step in which the STA transmits a PS-poll frame to the AP in response to the beacon frame; a step in which the STA receives, from the AP, an ACK frame transmitted by the AP in response to the PS-poll frame; and a step in which the STA determines the operation of the another BSS in a TXOP power save mode on the basis of the ACK frame.
Abstract:
The present document relates to a backoff procedure and apparatus for efficiently accessing a broadband channel in a wireless LAN system. To this end, a station performs a clear channel assessment (CCA) operation in each of a plurality of channels, and when one or more of the plurality of channels is/are not used and the one or more channels is/are not used for frame transmission in the basic service set (BSS) of its/their station, the station is characterized in that it performs or re-performs a backoff procedure in the one or more channels. When a backoff counter value becomes zero according to the backoff procedure, the station may transmit a frame through the one or more channels.
Abstract:
The present document relates to a method for efficiently performing uplink multi-user transmission in a wireless LAN system and an apparatus therefor. To this end, an access point (AP) may transmit a downlink multi-user frame to a plurality of STAs, receive an uplink frame including an acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signal for the downlink multi-user frame and an uplink scheduling request signal from at least two STAs among the STAs, transmit a downlink frame including uplink scheduling information to the at least two STAs on the basis of the uplink scheduling request signal, and receive an uplink multi-user frame including data from the at least two STAs in response thereto. Here, an SIG field of the downlink frame preferably comprises an indicator indicating that the downlink frame includes uplink multi-user scheduling information.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for updating a listen interval in a wireless communication system. To this end, a method for updating a listen interval by a station (STA) of a wireless communication system may comprise, if an operation mode of the station is changed, a request frame including information indicating that the operation mode of the station is changed, to an access point (AP); and receiving a response frame in response to the request frame from the AP. If a value of a listen interval of the station is changed as the operation mode of the station is changed, the request frame further include a value of a new listen interval of the station.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for retransmission in a wireless LAN. The method for retransmission in a wireless LAN may comprise the steps in which: an STA receives an RTS frame from an AP; the STA transmits a CTS frame to the AP in response to the RTS frame; the STA receives an initial data frame from the AP after transmitting the CTS frame; if decoding on the initial data frame is impossible, the STA transmits a retransmission request frame to the AP; and the STA receives a retransmission data frame from the AP in response to the retransmission request frame.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting data in wireless LAN may include the step of: receiving a non-target RTS frame from a second STA by a first STA, wherein the non-target RTS frame includes an RA field indicating a third STA; when the first STA does not receive a non-target CTS frame after a predetermined time and tries to transmit a data frame to an AP, transmitting an RTS frame to the AP by the first STA, wherein the non-target CTS frame is a response frame to the non-target RTS frame; and when the first STA has received a CTS frame in response to the RTS frame from the AP, transmitting the data frame to the AP by the first STA.
