    摘要: A fault detection system for an arithmetic unit includes a shift-and-add type multiplier which is capable of both normal multiplication and division for calculating a quotient as a product of a dividend and an approximated reciprocal of a divisor, a modulo 3 emulator emulating the multiplier in modulo 3 arithmetic, a modulo 3 converter converting the multiplication result of the multiplier into a modulo 3 equivalent, an error detector comparing outputs from the modulo 3 converter and the modulo 3 emulator to detect a bit error, and a control unit. The control unit supplies, to the modulo 3 emulator and the modulo 3 converter, a control signal representing either a normal multiplication mode, a multiplication mode for calculating a product of a divisor and a reciprocal of the divisor, a multiplication mode for calculating a product of a dividend and a reciprocal of a divisor, or a multiplication mode for generating a partial quotient in a division process. The control unit also controls generation of modulo 3 equivalents in the modulo 3 emulator and the modulo 3 converter.

The illumination device includes a case having an opening therein and which is detachably provided in the console so that the case can be easily installed and removed from the console, a lamp provided in the case adjacent to the opening and a long flexible power cord electrically coupled to the lamp and to a source of power such that the illumination device can be removed from the console and utilized at various locations within the passenger compartment. The lamp, case opening and console is further arranged and configured such that when the illumination device is installed in the console, the illumination device illuminates an instrument panel of the motor vehicle without casting light on the windshield of the motor vehicle.

    摘要: To provide an image processing device that calculates a parameter used for correcting large video jitter with high accuracy even when the accuracy of a sensor for measuring a movement of a photographing device is low. The image processing device includes: a constraint condition generating unit (130) that generates a constraint condition using sensor information such that a parameter value falls within a range; and a parameter calculating unit (140) that calculates the parameter according to the constraint condition. The constraint condition generating unit (130) has: a feature vector generating unit (131) that generates a feature vector showing features of the sensor information; and a motion classifying unit (such as 132) that identifies a movement of the photographing device according to the feature vector generated by the feature vector generating unit (131), on the basis of an association between the feature vector and the movement of the photographing device, the association being obtained as a result of previously-executed machine learning of the feature vector and an actual movement of the photographing device. The constraint condition generating unit (130) determines the range corresponding to the information of the movement of the photographing device, the movement being identified by the motion classifying unit (such as 132).

The imaging apparatus defines, with reference to a physical inclination detected by a sensor, an angle range in which the image is to be processed. The imaging apparatus then creates histograms indicative of frequency distributions of the inclination angles of those lines, and selects, in the created histograms, an inclination angle having a frequency that satisfies a predetermined criterion, as a rotational angle to be used for the rotational transform.
