摘要: A gasket fits between a deck plate and a solenoid valve in a lifter oil manifold assembly. The valve has a planar end surface with valve ports. The gasket has gasket ports for alignment with the valve ports. The gasket further has a planar sealing surface. The planar sealing surface on the gasket surrounds the gasket ports, and abuts the end surface of the solenoid valve fully around the valve ports. The gasket preferably includes a rib structure that extends lengthwise to surround the array of gasket ports. The rib structure is deflectable to the plane of the sealing surface under a clamping force applied to the gasket by the deck plate and the end surface of the valve.

摘要: Processes and apparatuses for separating diisopropylbenzene (DIPB) and triisopropylbenzene (TIPB) from a feed comprising DIPB, TIBP, and polyalkylate heavies are disclosed. The disclosed processes include introducing the feed into a distillation column having a column top pressure of less than 5 psia, a column bottoms pressure of less than 3 psi, and preferably 2 psi or less above the column top pressure with a bottoms temperature ranging from about 435° F. to about 465° F. The processes also include taking off a side draw comprising at least 99.8 wt % of the DIPB and at least 50 wt % of the IIPB present in the feed and a bottoms stream comprising at least 95 wt % of the heavies contained in the distillation feed. The low temperature bottoms temperature enables high pressure steam to be used as the bottoms reboiler heat source.

摘要: A method and system for the assignment of security group information using a proxy is disclosed. The method includes receiving an address of a network device at a first network device, receiving a security group of the network device at the first network device and associating the address information and the security group information with one another at the first network device. The first network device is coupled to a second network device. The address is represented by address information, which is received from the second network device. The security group is identified using the security group information, which indicates the network device is a member of the security group. The address information and the security group information are associated with one another by storing the address information and the security group information at the first network device.

摘要: A process is provided to produce an ultra low sulfur diesel with less than about 10 ppm sulfur using a two-phase or liquid-phase continuous reaction zone to convert a diesel boiling range distillate preferably obtained from a mild hydrocracking unit. In one aspect, the diesel boiling range distillate is introduced to the liquid-phase continuous reaction zone over-saturated with hydrogen in an amount effective so that the liquid phase remains substantially saturated with hydrogen throughout the reaction zone as the reactions proceed.

摘要: An improved process for surface treating water soluble cellulosic polymers with crosslinking agents to provide products which are more readily dispersible in cold water, and have longer viscosity delay times than can be achieved with polymers treated in low intensity mixers, such as ribbon blenders, comprising distributing the crosslinking agent using a continuous, high intensity mixer, followed by heating to facilitate surface crosslinking. This process also allows for a reduced level of crosslinking chemicals to be used.

摘要: A shoe includes a spike plate with spikes thereon, removably attached to a sole portion of the shoe to permit selective removal of the spike plate. The shoe includes a rib extending around the peripheral side wall of the sole, and the spike plate includes an upright wall extending around a peripheral edge of a base plate, the spike plate wall having a groove formed on an interior surface thereof cooperable with the rib to selectively connect the spike plate to the shoe. The spike plate includes a forward section pivotally connected to a rearward section along a transverse axis, to permit the forward section to pivot downwardly generally orthogonal to the rearward section of the spike plate.

摘要: A hydraulic inertial vibration isolator is connected between a vibrating body and an isolated body. The vibration isolator comprises a cylinder which includes two chambers and a piston therebetween. The chambers are connected by a tuning passage in which a solid tuning slug is slidably disposed. The chambers and the portion of the tuning passage not occupied by the tuning slug are filled with liquid. Bypass passages connecting the tuning passage to the chambers allow the liquid pressures in the chambers to equalize when the amplitude of the tuning slug's oscillatory motion is sufficiently large, thereby limiting the tuning slug's amplitude. Dashpots axially disposed adjacent to either end of the tuning slug act to damp excessive tuning slug motion and to bias the tuning slug toward the center of the tuning passage. In response to vibration of the isolated body to which the vibration isolator is attached, an electronic control system supplies an alternating current of appropriate amplitude and phase to one or more magnetic coils disposed adjacent to the tuning slug, thereby matching the isolation frequency of the vibrating body-vibration isolator-isolated body system with the vibration frequency and adding energy to the vibration isolator to compensate for damping losses. As a result, virtually no vibration is transferred from the vibrating body to the isolated body.

摘要: A system for providing early warning of the approach and egress of emergency vehicles in which the warning system provides a display to indicate the direction from which the emergency vehicle is approaching and in addition provides preemption control of the traffic signals at an intersection. A transmitter mounted on an emergency vehicle transmits a signal whenever it is on an emergency call which is received by infrared (I.R.) receivers positioned at an intersection to respond to the transmitted signals. The received signal is then processed by a master controller which in turn pre-empts operation of traffic signals to control traffic flow at the intersection to which the emergency vehicle is approaching. The master controller also provides an output to display signs facing approaching traffic on each road approaching the intersection which displays messages and symbols indicating the direction of the approaching emergency vehicle. Additionally, the display system indicates whether the emergency vehicle has passed through and is departing the intersection. After a predetermined interval when an emergency vehicle has passed through an intersection the display system is deactivated and the traffic signals are returned to the traffic light control system.
