摘要: Image signals of an original is obtained from a plurality of image sensors and are successively supplied to an output terminal. A switching element is provided for resetting the previous image signal, which adversely causes to produce noises. An image sensor driving device according to the invention is to cancel the noises by the provision of a noise accumulating circuit and a subtracting circuit for subtracting the noises as accumulated in the noise accumulating circuit from the image signal on which the noises are superimposed.

摘要: In the image sensor, thin film transistors are provided in the one-to-one correspondence to the photoelectric conversion element these thin film transistors being divided into blocks of adjoining ones whose gate electrodes are mutually connected, and the switching signal is sequentially supplied to each mutually connected gate electrodes of the same block. Further, the output electrodes of those thin film transistors located in the corresponding positions in each odd and even numbered blocks are mutually connected, and the charge transfer circuits comprising the MOS transistors are provided corresponding to respective common connection line groups of odd numbered block and even numbered block. By this construction, at the time of picking up the outputs of the photoelectric conversion elements, the switching period for the thin film transistors can be retained as long as the original reading time of a plurality of the photoelectric conversion elements corresponding to a plurality of the thin film transistors whose gate electrodes are mutually connected, and therefore the speed of outputting read signal is determined soley by the MOS transistor switching speed. In addition, the number of the connection lines required may be as small as the number of the common connection lines.

摘要: A reading, printing and copying device in which a film image sensor, liquid crystal shutter and drive unit are all fabricated upon a single transparent substrate. The film image sensor includes a plurality of individual photosensing elements, each of which is connected to a transparent electrode covered by a liquid crystal layer in the liquid crystal shutter. The drive unit of the device first couples each of the film image sensing units to a charging potential, after which the incident light determines the final potential of each of the electrodes, and hence the transmissivity of the portion of the liquid crystal layer associated with the transparent electrode coupled to the respective photoconductive element. The outputs of the photoconductive elements are also switchably couplable to an output terminal to provide a serial output signal. Light is shone onto the liquid crystal shutter. The amount of light transmitted through the liquid crystal shutter is controlled by the amount of light reflected from an original to be copied falling upon the film image sensor. The light transmitted through the liquid crystal shutter is applied to a photosensitive copying device.

摘要: An original reading device comprising a plurality of light sensing elements connected to output signal lines via MOS transistors. A row of light sensing elements is divided into blocks of elements. Each block has a pair of signal output lines. Groups of consecutive MOS transistors are alternately connected to the two signal lines, each group comprising at least two MOS transistors. The transistors are turned on twice each reading cycle, the time between turn-on of a given MOS being sufficiently short so that the output signal contains only noise, as compared to the photosignal plus noise obtained during the first turn-on. The turn-on sequence is such that the first turn-on of any group coincides with the second turn-on of the preceeding group. The signal output lines are connected as the inputs of a differential amplifier. Thus the noise signals are subtracted from the photosignal plus noise signals to result in outputs having only photosignals.

摘要: A camera tube apparatus for use in reading a document reader, such as in a facsimile system, which provides for accurate output from light-receiving devices with crosstalk eliminated. In this apparatus, at least one surface of a connecting electrode connecting a split electrode and a reading switch is provided through an insulative layer with a conducting layer connected to ground. The capacitance formed between the connecting electrode and the conducting layer is made greater than that of the light-receiving device.

摘要: An electro-optical picture signal processing system, wherein an optical image is converted into time sequential electrical picture signals, or, conversely, time sequential electrical picture signals into an optical image or an electrostatic latent image, is provided with an electron emission plane arranged in one-dimension, a control electrode positioned face to face with said plane to control the passing of electrons from the electron emission plane, a secondary-electron multiplying device yielding secondary-electrons in response to the electrons passing through the control electrode, and an anode collecting the multiplied secondary-electrons. At least one of the electron emission plane and the control electrode is divided into a number of segments each as large as a picture-element, arranged in one-dimension, and one of the segments is selected from one end to the other. When an optical image is converted into time sequential electrical signals, the number of the electrons passing through a selected segment portion is controlled in response to brightness of each picture-element of the optical image. On the other hand, when time sequential electrical signals are converted into an optical image or an electrostatic latent image, the potential difference between the selected part of the electron emission plane and the control electrode is controlled by time sequential picture signals.
