Abstract:
A marking apparatus for providing desired marks such as characters, symbols, graphics, etc. on surfaces of contact lenses in a standardized manner. The marking apparatus includes a main shaft rotatable about an axis and a screen support mounted on the main shaft so as to be rotated therewith. The screen support has a plurality of marking holes provided at equal intervals around a circumference thereof and a screen is stretched across the support. The screen includes patterns associated with the desired mark which are provided in correspondence with the marking holes. A bracket is mounted on the main shaft under the screen support so as to be rotated with the main shaft. A plurality of supporters are supported by the bracket and function to individually support lens beds on which the lenses are respectively disposed. The supporters are movable up and down between a position where the respective contact lenses mounted on the lens beds are brought into contact with corresponding patterns of the screen and a displaced position where the contact lenses can be mounted on or removed from the supporters. Finally, an injector placed above the screen support applies a print solution to the screen stretched in the corresponding one of the marking holes of the screen support.
Abstract:
An image-forming apparatus for developing an electrostatic latent image using a two-component developer. Toner replenishment is effected in different modes when the toner concentration is in a lower toner concentration range than a desired toner concentration and when it is lower than that toner concentration range.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming station for forming an image on a sheet; a rotatable member for transferring the sheet in a first direction toward the image forming station; supporting device for supporting the rotatable member for displacement in a second direction which crosses the first direction; driving device for displacing the rotatable member in the second direction to correct deviation of the sheet in the second direction; and inlet guide for guiding the sheet to the rotatable member, the guide being displaceable in the second direction together with the rotatable member.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus capable of reproducing in different colors a plurality of image areas selected from a plurality of different originals on a single copy sheet. The apparatus comprises a transparent original holder device on which is placed an original in such a way that the image bearing surface of said original faces downwardly; a first original placement reference indicating device disposed on the transparent original holder device; an original pressure device which is movable between a first position at which the original pressure device covers the transparent original holder device and a second position at which the original pressure device opens the transparent original holder device; an image area designation device which is disposed on the surface of the original pressure device and on which is placed an original with the image bearing surface thereof faced upwardly so as to designate an image area to be copied of the original; a second original placement reference indicating device which is disposed on the surface of the original pressure device and is provided for the image area designation device; and a scanning device for exposing and scanning the original placed on the transparent original holder.
Abstract:
A recycling method of an apparatus having a part includes a collecting step of collecting a part from the apparatus; a processing step of processing the collected part to adapt it to an apparatus having different specifications; and a mounting step of mounting the part processed in the processing step on the apparatus.
Abstract:
An apparatus for cutting ocular lens materials is disclosed which includes a rotating drive unit, a chuck for holding the lens material, a main shaft for transmitting a rotational force from the rotating drive unit to the chuck, and a coupling for supporting the main shaft and the chuck in a freely rotatable way; the chuck comprising finger members that are normally urged toward the side where they are closed and a cylinder portion for operation in such a way as to open the finger members; the chuck and the main shaft being connected concentrically; a passageway being provided for applying a working pressure from outside to the cylinder portion.
Abstract:
A cleaning instrument which can easily clean a lens in a short time without damaging the lens, which can clean both side surfaces of the lens at the same time, and which can serve also as a case for storing the lenses, includes a cleaning ball for cleaning a lens. A cleaning vessel is formed with a recessed cleaning chamber for housing a contact lens and the cleaning ball. The cleaning chamber has a bottom concave inner surface which is curved complementarily to the curvature of the lens so that the lens can be mounted in face-to-face contact therebetween.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes sheet accommodating cassette for accommodating sheets, a device for forming images on the sheets, a first sheet conveying passage for conveying the sheet to the image forming device from the sheet accommodating cassette, a conveyor for accommodating a bundle of sheets having been subjected to an image forming operation by the image forming means at first sides thereof in a form in which leading edges of the sheets are gradually deviated in a sheet advancement direction, and for conveying the bundle as a whole, a feeder, disposed downstream of the conveyor with respect to the sheet advancement direction, for feeding one by one the sheets of the bundle from the sheet closest to the feeder, a second sheet conveying passage merging into the first passage for refeeding to the image forming device the sheets fed by the feeder, and a confining device for confining the sheets of the bundle other than the sheet being fed by the feeder.
Abstract:
A document feeding apparatus comprising a first original supporting device on which an original is placed, an original inlet port for receiving the original placed on the first original supporting device, a conveying device for guiding the original fed from the inlet port to a predetermined position and exhausting the original from the predetermined position, and a second original supporting device mounted on a housing of the document feeding apparatus and having an image area designation device for designating an image area of the original. In an image area designation mode of the apparatus, the original is placed on the image area designation device, a desired image area is designated, and the original is placed on the first original supporting device and is guided to the predetermined position through the inlet port.
Abstract:
