Abstract: A first circuit board includes a positive output pin and a negative output pin of a power conversion circuit, each of which has a shape projecting from a second main surface. A second circuit board has a positive through via and a negative through via, each of which has a shape extending between a third main surface and a fourth main surface. The second main surface of the first circuit board and the third main surface of the second circuit board are physically in close contact with each other. The positive output pin is inserted through the positive through via to reach the fourth main surface. The negative output pin is inserted through the negative through via in such a manner as to reach the fourth main surface. The load receives a current supplied from the power conversion circuit through the positive output pin and the negative output pin.

Abstract: A switching power supply apparatus includes switching elements that generate switching current flowing through an inductor, a switching control circuit, and an inductor current detection circuit that detects current flowing through the inductor. The inductor current detection circuit is composed of a time constant circuit including a detection capacitor and a detection resistor that are connected in series to each other and is connected in parallel to the inductor. A time constant of the inductor current detection circuit has characteristics varied with frequency or temperature. This compensates variation of equivalent series resistance of the inductor with respect to the frequency or variation thereof with respect to the temperature.

The MPU sets operations of the plurality of power conversion units on the basis of the operating number signal, and outputs the control signals including the settings of the operations of the power conversion units.

Abstract: High-frequency power is supplied from a power transmitter to a power receiver using an electromagnetic resonance phenomenon between the power transmitter and the power receiver. The power receiver converts the high-frequency power into a power reception direct-current power to charge a battery. A power reception control unit in the power receiver detects a state of charge of the battery and generates a power transmission stop signal on the basis of the state of charge of the battery. A resonance modulation circuit in the power receiver changes resonance conditions in response to the power transmission stop signal. An MPU in the power transmitter demodulates the power transmission stop signal based on an electric variable from a power transmission direct-current power supply due to a change in the resonance conditions and stops an operation of supplying the high-frequency power in a transmission power conversion circuit for a predetermined period.

Abstract: A wireless power transfer system includes a power transmitter including a high frequency power converter circuit that converts a direct current power into a high frequency power using a switching circuit, a power transmitter coil, and an electric field shield member close to the power transmitter coil and having a structure that uses a conductive member to form an equivalent capacitance between the electric field shield member and the power transmitter coil by electric coupling therebetween during a power transmitting operation such that the value of the equivalent capacitance becomes greater than the value of an equivalent capacitance formed between the power transmitter coil and ground. The power transmitter causes electric potentials in the electric field shield member to be identical using the conductive member, suppresses changes in an electric field in a vicinity of the power transmitter coil, and suppresses radiation of the electric field noise.

Abstract: Power line patterns are, together with a ground pattern, provided separately from control line patterns. The power line pattern is formed at first and second major surfaces of a circuit board. When the circuit board is viewed in plan view, the power line pattern and the power line pattern form a line structure in which the power line pattern and the power line pattern are in parallel with and opposite to each other and the power line pattern is positioned under the power line pattern. The circuit board includes a dielectric between the power line pattern and the power line pattern. These together form an equivalent capacitor and the magnetic flux induced by the current flowing through the power line pattern and the magnetic flux induced by the current flowing through the power line pattern cancel each other out.

Abstract: A power transmitter and a power receiver are arranged with a space therebetween.
