    摘要: In a power window apparatus in which between a car power source and a ground, a first series circuit formed of a first switch and a first relay and a second series circuit formed of a second switch and a second relay are connected; when the first switch is operated, the first relay is energized, a motor is rotated in one direction due to switching of contacts of the first relay, and a window is raised; and when the second switch is operated, the second relay is energized, the motor is rotated in the other direction due to switching of contacts of the second relay, and the window is lowered, the first switch and the second switch each have one circuit with two contacts, and the fixed contacts which are switched when the first switch or the second switch is not operated are grounded.

    摘要: Magnetic fluid is inserted between slip rings of a rotor and brushes of a stator. The magnetic fluid is held by magnetic force generated by permanent magnets and yokes mounted on the stator, so as to be sidable relative to the slip rings. In this state, in accordance with rotation of the rotor, the brushes and the slip rings are rotated without direct contact with each other via the magnetic fluid. Thus, the brushes and the slip rings are electrically connected to each other.

    摘要: An inlet tube leads exhaust gas from an automobile engine to an expansion chamber inside a muffler housing. Exhaust gas from the expansion chamber is discharged to the atmosphere via a first tail tube. A dead space chamber and volume chamber are disposed on either side of the expansion chamber in the housing, and a first internal tube connects the volume chamber and expansion chamber. A second internal tube having a valve which opens under pressure of the exhaust gas connects the volume chamber and dead space chamber. Exhaust gas from the dead space chamber is discharged to the atmosphere via a second tail tube. As the dead space chamber and volume chamber are not adjacent, pressure waves in the volume chamber do not cause a volume change of the dead space chamber, and emission noise from the second tail tube due to excitation of a resonance system comprising the dead space chamber, is reduced.

    摘要: A first and second noise suppressing mechanism are provided inside the muffler. Each mechanism is provided with a discharge pipe for discharging exhaust gas to outside the muffler. The first noise suppressing mechanism reduces exhaust noise in the low engine speed region. The second noise suppressing mechanism reduces noise in the medium and high engine speed regions. A valve is provided that connects the first noise suppressing mechanism and second noise suppressing mechanism according to the engine exhaust pressure. In the low speed region, the valve is closed and exhaust gas is discharged via the first noise suppressing mechanism where mainly low frequency noise is eliminated. In the medium and high speed regions, the valve is opened and exhaust gas is also discharged via the second noise suppressing mechanism where high frequency noise specific in these regions is also eliminated. Further, by the increased exhaust cross-sectional area, power drop due to increase of back pressure in the muffler in the high speed region, is prevented.

    摘要: An optical recording system is disclosed in which input pixels are recorded by controlling the quantity of light as a medium based on the input pixels. The information on the pixels surrounding at least given one of the input pixels is compared with predetermined pattern information, and the particular pixel is accordingly subdivided into a plurality of regions for each of which the light quantity is controlled. Specifically, an optical recording system includes a recognition device for recognizing at least one feature of the desired image by comparing pixel information constituting a predetermined pattern with other pixel information making up a recording target and at least a given one of the pixels with surrounding pixels, and a device for determining the light quantity in a predetermined manner in accordance with the feature. The system further includes a light quantity control device including an exposure pattern signal storage having stored therein a set of rules for controlling the light quantity of a given one of the input pixels in accordance with the information on the surrounding pixels.

    摘要: A main control unit for controlling a dot printing element in a laser beam printer has a first control means for controlling the dot printing element so as to print a predetermined dot size in accordance with an existence of a dot signal in an image information signal. The main control unit has a second control means and a control selection means. The second control means controls the dot printing element so as to vary a size of the dot of a dither matrix. The control selection means operates selectively the first control means and the second control means. A gradation data is transmitted to the printer without conversion of a dither matrix data. The printer can print an image in response to in either cases of a character pattern dot data signal and a gradation data signal. The printer has a gradation signal on an interference, a gradation converting means and a laser modulating means. The printer can connect in either cases of an existence state and a non-existence state of the gradation signal.
