    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity may receive, via a first frequency carrier, a first message of a multi-stage grant that includes the first message and a second message, wherein the multi-stage grant schedules a communication, wherein the first message indicates first information associated with the second message of the multi-stage grant, and wherein the first frequency carrier is associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The network entity may receive, via a second frequency carrier, the second message of the multi-stage grant, wherein the second message indicates second information associated with the communication, and wherein the second frequency carrier is associated with a second RAT. The network entity may communicate, based on the second information, the communication. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for scrambling of FMCW for interference mitigation in JCS are described. An apparatus is configured to obtain a set of phase-coded FMCW signals that is phase-coded based on a scrambling ID for the first node and/or a second node. The apparatus is configured to descramble the set of phase-coded FMCW signals based on the scrambling ID. The set of phase-coded FMCW signals is descrambled to obtain a set of descrambled FMCW signals. The apparatus is configured to perform sensing, communication, and/or JCS functions based on the set of descrambled FMCW signals. Another apparatus is configured to configure a set of FMCW signals, and to scramble the set of FMCW signals based on a scrambling ID for the first node and/or a second node to obtain a set of phase-coded FMCW signals. The apparatus is configured to transmit, for the second node, the set of phase-coded FMCW signals.

    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for waveform adaptations in RF sensing are described. An apparatus is configured to operate in one of a wireless communications mode or a sensing mode. The wireless communications mode is associated with at least one of a communications or sensing waveform. The sensing mode is associated with at least one of the communications or the sensing waveform, and the sensing and communication waveforms are different. The apparatus is also configured to obtain an indication of a switch to operate in another of the wireless communications or sensing mode. The apparatus is further configured to switch to the other mode per the indication.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may receive one or more service data units (SDUs) at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device. The transmitting device may encode, at the L2 layer, the one or more SDUs according to one or more network coding parameters to obtain at least one encoded protocol data unit (PDU), the one or more network coding parameters comprising a rateless code. The transmitting device may generate, for the at least one encoded PDU, at least one corresponding PDU header. The transmitting device may output the at least one encoded PDU and the at least one corresponding PDU header from the L2 layer to a lower layer of the transmitting device for transmission to one or more receiving devices.
