Abstract: Techniques are provided for passive positioning of user equipment (UE). An example method for passive positioning of a user equipment includes receiving a first positioning reference signal from a first station at a first time, receiving a second positioning reference signal from a second station at a second time, receiving a turnaround time value associated with the first positioning reference signal and the second positioning reference signal, and a distance value based on a location of the first station and a location of the second station, and determining a time difference of arrival based at least in part on the turnaround time value, the distance value, the first time, and the second time.

Abstract: In an aspect, a network component (e.g., BS, server, etc.) obtains measurement information associated with uplink signal(s) from UE(s), with the uplink signal(s) having reciprocity with one or more downlink beams of wireless node(s) (e.g., TRP, reference UE, etc.). The network component determines (e.g., generates or refines) a measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model based on the measurement information. The network component provides the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model to a target UE. The target UE receives at least one signal (e.g., PRS) on the one or more downlink beams from the wireless node(s). The target UE processes the at least one signal (e.g., predicts target UE location) based at least in part on the measurement (e.g., RFFP-P) model.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support sensing assisted positioning. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, from a first management function of a network, a first configuration that indicates a first parameter associated with a sensing operation operable to measure a characteristic of an object within an environment. The method also includes receiving, from a second management function of the network, a second configuration that indicates a second parameter associated with a positioning operation operable to identify a position of the object within the environment based on the characteristic The method further includes transmitting a sensing report based on the sensing operation and that indicates the characteristic, and transmitting a positioning report. Each of the positioning report and the sensing report indicating the position of the object within the environment. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a network entity to calculate a relative clock drift between a Tx antenna panel and an Rx antenna panel that use different RF hardware/circuits (e.g., clocks). In one aspect, a network entity obtains a plurality of RTT measurements between a Tx antenna panel, a device with a known position, and an Rx antenna panel over a period of time, where the Tx antenna panel is associated with a first clock and the Rx antenna panel is associated with a second clock. The network entity obtains a first timing delay associated with the device based on the plurality of RTT measurements. The network entity calculates a clock offset between the Tx antenna panel and the Rx antenna panel based on the obtained first timing delay associated with the device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Radio resource management (RRM) signals for a RRM procedure may be adjusted for a user equipment (UE) or a cell operating in a low power mode, such as by relaxing, canceling, or prioritizing some RRM signals with respect to other signals based on power conditions at the UE or the cell. A UE may receive, from a network entity, scheduling information for a set of RRM signals. The UE may identify a first power condition at the UE and select a subset of the set of RRM signals based on the first power condition at the UE and/or a second power condition at the network entity. The UE may communicate, with the network entity, the subset of the set of RRM signals.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless signaling based on downlink cancellation information and uplink skipping information are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, scheduling information indicating a set of resources of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) allocated for uplink transmissions. The UE may transmit uplink control information (UCI) including skipping information indicating a first subset of the set of resources of a PUSCH to remain unoccupied by transmissions by the UE. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) including uplink cancellation information indicating a second subset to remain unoccupied by transmissions by the UE. The UE may transmit uplink signaling via a portion of the set of resources based on the UCI, the DCI, or both. In some examples, the DCI may be transmitted before the UCI.
