摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support conditional cross-carrier hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) retransmissions. The UE may transmit a capability message to the network entity to indicate a capability of the UE to support the cross-carrier HARQ retransmissions. The UE or the network entity may transmit a message on a first component carrier. The UE or the network entity may retransmit the message on a second component carrier based on an availability of resources for retransmitting the message, based on the capability of the UE, and based on one or more conditions associated with communications by the UE satisfying a threshold condition for cross-carrier HARQ retransmissions. For uplink communications, the UE may perform the transmitting and conditional retransmitting. For downlink communications, the network entity may perform the transmitting and conditional retransmitting.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating multiple contention-based resource sets dedicated for the transmission of scheduling requests, where each contention-based resource set is associated with one or more respective contentions. The one or more respective conditions may be associated with a packet delay threshold, a buffer size threshold, or a probability function. The UE may transmit a scheduling request to request uplink resources for the UE using a resource of a contention-based resource set based on satisfaction of the one or more respective conditions of the contention-based resource set. In some examples, a remaining packet delay budget of an uplink message at the UE may satisfy the packet delay threshold of the contention-resource set. As such, the UE may randomly select the resource, from the contention-based resource set, to use for transmission of the scheduling request.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information scheduling transmission of periodic multimedia traffic bursts to the UE with a first periodic cadence. The UE may receive control signaling from the UE indicating that the UE is to periodically transmit sounding reference signals to the base station according to a second cadence, which may be a multiple of the first periodic cadence. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive control signaling indicating that the UE is to transmit a sounding reference signal at a time associated with a beginning of at least one of the periodic multimedia traffic bursts. The UE may transmit one or more sounding reference signals to the base station in accordance with the control signaling.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless signaling based on downlink cancellation information and uplink skipping information are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, scheduling information indicating a set of resources of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) allocated for uplink transmissions. The UE may transmit uplink control information (UCI) including skipping information indicating a first subset of the set of resources of a PUSCH to remain unoccupied by transmissions by the UE. The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) including uplink cancellation information indicating a second subset to remain unoccupied by transmissions by the UE. The UE may transmit uplink signaling via a portion of the set of resources based on the UCI, the DCI, or both. In some examples, the DCI may be transmitted before the UCI.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support enhanced scheduling request configurations. A user equipment (UE) may obtain, at a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) layer of the UE, information associated with a data packet for transmission by the UE. The UE may transmit a scheduling request that indicates information regarding an elapsed time period since the information associated with the data packet was obtained at the PDCP layer of the UE, or whether the data packet is a final packet of a set of data packets, or both. A network entity may receive the scheduling request and determine scheduling information for uplink communications by the UE based on the information regarding the elapsed time period, or whether the data packet is the final data packet, or both. The network entity may transmit the scheduling information to the UE.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support enhanced burst transmission operations. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, a signaling message indicating a burst transmission, the burst transmission including one or more sets of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions. The method also includes transmitting or receiving, by the wireless communication device, at least one set of PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions of the one or more sets of PDSCH or PUSCH transmissions of the burst transmission based on the signaling message. The method further includes transitioning, by the wireless communication device, to a power saving mode based on the signaling message. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
