Abstract: A method or apparatus for wireless communication at a scheduling entity communicating with a plurality of devices over a plurality of links in a shared spectrum in a way to avoid undue interference among the plurality of links. The apparatus receives a set of priority indicators, each priority indicator corresponding to time varying priorities for communicating over the plurality of links. The apparatus assigns each of the plurality of links a subset of the set of priority indicators. Each priority indicator maps to a time varying priority level for the communication during each of a plurality of frames. The apparatus may also receive an indication of a mapping function for determining the corresponding priority level for each priority indicator according to a frame number. Links assigned disjoint priority indicators may have TDM transmissions, whereas links having an overlapping priority indicator may have simultaneous transmissions.

Abstract: Sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission with implied request-to-send (RTS)/clear-to-send (CTS) operations is discussed. Two different types of SRS are defined, a legacy SRS associated with channel measurement sounding, and a contention SRS associated with contention resolution for medium sharing. The type of SRS may be distinguished based on the SRS resource associated with the particular type. Thus, legacy SRS are assigned to one SRS resource, while contention SRS are assigned to separate SRS resources. Therefore, when a neighbor node detects an SRS associated with the SRS resource for contention-type SRS, the neighbor node may know to refrain from transmission or to adjust or modify its communications depending on a spatial direction of the contention SRS.

Abstract: Joint aspects of coordinated multiple (CoMP) operations is discussed between multiple entities that may be in different CoMP clusters or even deployed by different operators. Participating base stations obtain channel related information such as sounding reference signals (SRS), channel state information (CSI), and the like from one or more neighbor user equipments (UE) served by a different base station. The base station determines a channel estimate at the neighbor UEs using the channel related information and selects a beamforming vector and schedules downlink transmissions to a served UE based on the channel estimates incorporating the channels of the other neighbor UEs. The selected beamforming vectors and transmission schedules minimizes the interference at the neighbor UEs.

Abstract: Enhanced robustness for downlink burst transmissions using reiterated grants. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple transmissions during multiple (e.g., consecutive, etc.) transmission time intervals (TTIs) as part of a downlink burst from a base station, where at least some of the TTIs may include an iteration of a grant and a data transmission. The grants may contain some common control information for TTIs of the downlink burst, as well as an indicator of how may TTIs come before and after. The UE may identify preceding and subsequent TTIs in the downlink burst by decoding any of the grant iterations. If the UE identifies a previous transmission that has not been buffered, it may send a negative acknowledgement to the base station. If the previous transmission has been buffered, the UE may decode the previous transmission based at least in part on the current grant iteration.
