Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit, to each receiver device of a plurality of receiver devices communicating with the transmitter device over a wideband channel using frequency division multiplexing, an indication of a bandwidth portion of the wideband channel to be used by the receiver device for performing measurements associated with a non-linear model of the transmitter device. The transmitter device may transmit, to each receiver device of the plurality of receiver devices, one or more wideband reference signals associated with training the non-linear model. The transmitter device may receive a plurality of digital pre-distortion (DPD) coefficients, obtain a set of DPD coefficients based at least in part on combining the plurality of DPD coefficients, and perform DPD processing in accordance with the set of DPD coefficients. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a network entity may adjust a backoff power level for communications by the network entity in a first cell supported by the network entity. The network entity may transmit signaling that indicates an estimated level of interference in a second cell supported by a neighboring network entity based on the adjusted backoff power level. The network entity may receive a feedback message from the neighboring network entity that indicates downlink interference measurements by one or more UEs operating within the second cell. In some examples, the feedback message may indicate a difference in interference measurements obtained by the UEs before and after the backoff power level is adjusted by the network entity. The network entity may further adjust or maintain the backoff power level based on the feedback received from the neighboring network entity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may receive an uplink transmission from a user equipment (UE) over a wireless channel and measure a post-digital post-distortion (post-DPOD) signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the uplink transmission. The base station may generate a power output back-off indication for the UE according to the post-DPOD SNR and a change in a post-DPOD noise level of the transmission between a non-linear distortion noise component and a thermal noise component. The base station may transmit the power output back-off indication and a downlink transmission to the UE. In response, the base station may receive an uplink transmission from the UE over the wireless channel. The uplink transmission may be based on the power output back-off indication, a signal quality metric of the downlink transmission, or both.

The UE may perform a first waveform shaping stage on the input signal to increase an in-band emissions ratio and reduce a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the input signal. The UE may perform a second waveform shaping stage on the output of the first waveform shaping stage to reduce an adjacent channel leakage ratio of the output of the first waveform shaping stage. The UE may then transmit a signal over the wireless channel based on an output of the second waveform shaping stage.

Abstract: Aspects are provided that allow a user equipment (UE) to facilitate interference measurements configuration for assessing impact of network entity backoff adaptation relaxation. The UE may obtain interference measurements of one or more first reference signals including a measurement prior to and after a backoff adaptation associated with a first network entity, and signal strength measurements of a second reference signal received from the first network entity. The UE also may send, to a second network entity of a serving cell, an interference report indicating whether downlink interference originates from the first network entity based at least in part on the interference measurements and the signal strength measurements. After obtaining the report, the second network entity may send, to the first network entity, a feedback signal indicating whether the first network entity is to modify the backoff adaptation based on the downlink interference to the UE.

Abstract: A network node may select a reference AM/PM impairment signature. The network node may transmit, to a UE, a first indication of the reference AM/PM impairment signature via a security signal. The network node may transmit, to the UE, at least one reference signal via a downlink channel. The at least one reference signal may include added AM/PM impairment based on the reference AM/PM impairment signature. The UE may receive, from a transmitter, at least one reference signal via a downlink channel. The UE may estimate an AM/PM impairment signature in the at least one reference signal. The UE may identify whether the estimated AM/PM impairment signature matches a reference AM/PM impairment signature. Further, the UE may maintain or discard at least one slot associated with the downlink channel based on whether the estimated AM/PM impairment signature matches the reference AM/PM impairment signature.

A wireless communication device may have an apparatus that aligns the non-linearity between transmit chains of the wireless communication device that are driven by the same digital port. The apparatus may adjust an amplification power out or an amplification saturated power to adjust a ratio between the amplification saturated power and the amplification power out for one or more transmit chains of the wireless communication device. The apparatus may adjust the ratios of transmit chains to align the ratios of the transmit chains for more consistent management of non-linear characteristics of the chain components.
