    摘要: A method for assigning background pixels an appropriate color to fill all remaining background pixels by a computer after standard paint and overscan techniques to prevent and reduce artifacts. The method includes computing an initial mipmap level and keeping track of which pixels are background pixels. Four pixels at a subsequent mipmap level correspond to a single pixel at a higher level. If the four pixels at the lower level are background pixels, then the single pixel is also a background pixel and a corresponding color is used. Otherwise, the color of the single pixel is the average of non-background pixels.

    摘要: A system that implements a “tangent space brush,” allowing a user to paint directly onto a parameterized object, for example a three dimensional object. A tangent space brush projects coordinates from an input device to the world-space point on the surface of the 3D object. A normal is determined at that point and a brush image is projected from that point, along the normal, to the underlying surfaces. The system is implemented by providing a system that implements selecting a selected area of a displayed object, and projecting a brush directly onto a surface of the selected area.

    摘要: A system and method for augmenting panoramic images with performance related data for a building are disclosed. The system includes a memory coupled to a processor configured to receive panoramic image data, generate a digital image based on the panoramic image data, and modify the digital image to include a graphical representation of the performance related data. The processor maps performance related data to the coordinate system of the panoramic images such that the graphical representation may be generated without converting the panoramic image data into a high-quality, three-dimensional model in a CAD program. In this way, computer-generated graphical representations of building performance data, such as temperature fields or virtual structures, may be overlaid directly onto a two-dimensional projection of the panoramic image data. In one embodiment, the panoramic image data is a spherical, 360 degree panoramic image captured by a laser scanning device.

    摘要: An interactive 3D presentation system that utilizes a collection of shots or motion views where each shot can include a combination of a camera view and camera action. A visual transition, such as a fade, can be presented at the end and beginning of sequential shots. Between the end point of a first shot and the beginning of a sequential shot, the scene is not shown. The system allows interactive authoring and/or viewing a 3D visual experience composed by defining a collection of shots where each shot is a combination of a camera view point of interest (POI) plus a camera motion path. The POI is placed on the path in a variety of ways where it can be at the beginning, in the middle or at the end of the path. A collection of predefined, cinematically styled camera motion paths, such as a crane and track shots, can be made available to the author. The pacing and duration of each shot can be adjusted. A graphical user interface showing the scene is provided and includes thumbnails of the POI or sets of POIs where the user can select a thumbnail to play an associated shot or set. The interface allows for the arrangement and ordering of shots to be used in a presentation. The system allows a shot to be retrieved from a collection of shots by indexing the 3D locations of each shot's camera path and using this index to find the nearest neighbors to a user specified mouse cursor position. Variations in the scene can also be selected using the interface.

    摘要: A call forwarding server in a telephony network is configured to provide an authorization function during activation of a call forwarding service. In response to receiving a forwarding request including initiating and terminating telephone numbers (TN), the call forwarding server generates and sends a request for the terminating TN to obtain authorization for the forwarding service. In response to receiving an authorization response for enabling call forwarding, the call forwarding server enables call forwarding for the initiating TN by updating a call forwarding record to include an entry including the initiating TN and the terminating TN. Communications placed to the initiating TN are automatically forwarded to the terminating TN once the forwarding service is enabled.
