A method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided which includes receiving downlink data from a base station; performing listen-before-talk (LBT) for uplink transmission; transmitting a first reservation signal based on an end timing of the LBT and a subframe boundary; and transmitting uplink data to the base station based on the subframe boundary.

According to various embodiments in the present disclosure, a method of operating a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises receiving information for indicating a pre-listen interval within an allocated channel occupancy time from a base station (BS), transmitting a reporting signal for indicating that occupancy of an unlicensed band by at least one node is not detected during the pre-listen interval, receiving resource allocation information for indicating uplink resources of the unlicensed band allocated based on the reporting signal, and transmitting uplink data through the uplink resources.

Abstract: Disclosed is a 5G or pre-5G communication system for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4G communication system such as LTE. Disclosed are: a method for transmitting a signal in an unlicensed band channel on the basis of a counter reduction in the unlicensed band channel of a mobile communication system and a clear channel assessment (CCA) of the channel; and a mobile communication system, and according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the method for transmitting a signal in an unlicensed band channel on the basis of a counter reduction in the unlicensed band channel of a mobile communication system and a clear channel assessment (CCA) of the channel comprises the steps of: reducing the counter and performing a CCA for the channel, during a first period of transmitting a discovery signal and data; storing the reduced counter when a second period of transmitting only the discovery signal without the data is started; reducing the counter by using the stored counter and performing the CCA for the channel when a third period of transmitting the discovery signal and the data is started; and transmitting the discovery signal or the data on the channel on the basis of the counter value.

Abstract: A 5th generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4th generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE) is provided. A method and apparatus which perform communication in a wireless communication system using an unlicensed band, and a method in which a base station controls a clear channel assessment (CCA) timing in a wireless communication system using an unlicensed band are provided. The method includes determining whether to change CCA timing by comparing a number of at least one of continuous successes or continuous failures in a CCA with a predetermined threshold value and when it is determined that the CCA timing is to be changed, randomizing the CCA timing.

The method includes receiving a scheduling grant through a downlink control channel from a base station (evolved Node B (eNB)) and transmitting a scheduling assignment (SA) message in an SA region of a D2D communication frame and data in a data region of the D2D communication frame, based on the scheduling grant, wherein the scheduling grant indicates a resource pattern for transmission (RPT) corresponding to a set of resource units or a subset of a resource unit in a time domain and a frequency domain that is used for transmission of the data.
