摘要： An instantaneous differential non-linearity DNL can be determined with a high accuracy with a reduced volume of computation and independently from a testing frequency while allowing an evaluation of factors in a compounded fault. A sine signal is applied to an AD converter 14 under test, a conversion output of which is divided into a sine component and a cosine component, with local maxima or minima aligned with each other. A square sum of the individual samples is formed, and a square root of the square sum is formed to determine an instantaneous amplitude (21). The amplitude of the sine wave signal is interleaved into a series of instantaneous amplitudes (20), and a first stage of the wavelet transform (46) is applied to the interleaved series of instantaneous amplitudes, with its output being oversampled to perform a second stage of wavelet transform (46′). A maximum amplitude of the transform output is detected by peak detector 23′. A detected value is used to estimate the DNL.

摘要： A method for testing and measuring distortion in electrical devices is provided. For signal processing and carrying devices, a signal generator generates a signal having known phase, amplitude and frequency, which is provided both to a device under test and a measuring unit. The measuring unit measures the amplitude, frequency and phase rotation of an output of the device under test and provides these measured values to a suppression signal generator. The suppression signal generator generates a suppression signal which is added to the output signal from the device under test for suppressing the fundamental wave of the output signal. This suppressed signal is then provided to the measuring unit, for comparison with the original output signal from the device under test for determining distortion factors. For testing signal reproducing devices, such as compact disc players and video tape recorders, such a device reproduces a series of signals, for which a series of corresponding suppression signals is generated by the suppression signal generator. Each suppression signal is added to the corresponding original signal and eliminates the fundamental wave in each signal in the series. The suppressed signals are then compared with the orginal corresponding signals for determining distortion factors of the signal reproducing device.

摘要： A refrigerating apparatus, where refrigerant reaches a supercritical state in at least part of a refrigeration cycle, includes at least one expansion mechanism, an evaporator connected to the expansion mechanism, first and second sequential compression elements, a radiator connected to the discharge side of the second compression element, a first refrigerant pipe interconnecting the radiator and the expansion mechanism, a heat exchanger arranged to cause heat exchange between the first refrigerant pipe and another refrigerant pipe. Preferably, a heat exchanger switching mechanism is switchable so that refrigerant flows in the first refrigerant pipe through the first heat exchanger or in a heat exchange bypass pipe connected to the first refrigerant pipe. Alternatively, a heat exchanger switching mechanism increases refrigerant flowing through a second expansion mechanism when an air temperature at the evaporator and/or a compressed refrigerant temperature detected is higher and/or lower than predetermined values.

The recording controller allows the first recorder to start pre-recording of the image of the person from a face detection time when the person's face is detected, and to finish the pre-recording at a matched time when matching is confirmed as a result of the face comparison process of the face comparison processor. The recording controller stores pre-recorded data from the face detection time to the matched time in the second recorder.
