Abstract: A resin molded article is produced by performing extrusion molding of a thermoplastic amorphous resin containing a dispersion phase, and then rolling it. According to a molecular orientation associated with an elongation of the dispersion phase in the rolling direction, it is possible to provide the resin molded article having an increased elastic modulus and a reduced coefficient of linear expansion.

Abstract: A CDMA complex QPSK spread modulation method and apparatus are provided, which can be operated on a reduced gate scale with reduced power consumption. Digital data signals are spread modulated by multipliers, with the first spreading codes generated from first spreading code generators, so as to produce spread modulated signals. These spread modulated signals are input to a complex QPSK processor where they are subjected to a complex QPSK operation with second spreading codes generated from second spreading code generators. The resultant signals are filtered through low-pass filters. Digital-to-analog converters convert the filtered signals into analog values. Signals including the QCH data signal are processed through multipliers so as to weight them with a gain factor G from a gain factor controller.

Abstract: A drive section is disposed on only one side of a moving member. In the drive section, a coil is disposed sideways of a support portion so as to be in a vertically long state, and a guide portion is provided on an upper surface of the coil so as to extend from the coil onto a U-shaped yoke disposed on the side opposed to the coil. One side of the yoke is inserted into the coil. On an upper surface of the yoke is disposed a guide receiving portion which supports the tip end of the guide portion slidably. The yoke can be utilized to prevent rotation of the moving member, whereby it is possible to attain the simplification of structure.

Abstract: A head transport mechanism for reciprocating a carriage in a radial direction of a disc using a linear motor as a drive source is disclosed. In the head transport mechanism, cylindrical projections are formed on a support plate, threads are cut on the inner surfaces of the projections, and cutouts are formed in the distal ends of bottom yokes. Abstract: A lower magnetic head is attached to a carriage and a head support member supporting an upper magnetic head is hinged to the carriage. The head support member is provided on its lower surface in a continuous arrangement with a first flat portion, an inclined portion and a second flat portion. A cartridge holder for holding a disk cartridge, and a cross plate are fixed to an open upper end of a main chassis. A driving pin is fixed to the cross plate. When the carriage is moved away from a magnetic disk with an auxiliary chassis held at an upper loading position, the driving pin comes into contact wit the second flat portion of the head support member to separate the upper magnetic head from the magnetic disk. When the carriage moves toward the center of the magnetic disk, the driving pin is disengaged from the head support member, so that the upper magnetic head is pressed through the magnetic disk against the lower magnetic disk.
