摘要: The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a silicone elastomer article comprising the following step:1) providing a composition C, comprising water, at least one poloxamer and a poly(oxyalkylene glycol), into a container; 2) placing the container comprising the composition C at the required temperature T1 to form a gel; 3) printing a crosslinkable silicone composition X into the gel obtained in 2) with a 3D printer at the required temperature T1; 4) optionally allowing the printed composition X to partially or totally crosslink, optionally by heating, to obtain a silicone elastomer article, in the container; 5) optionally placing the container obtained in step 4) at a temperature T3 lower than the sol-gel transition temperature of composition C; 6) recovering the silicone elastomer article; and 7) optionally washing the obtained silicone elastomer article for example with water at a temperature T3 lower than the sol-gel transition temperature of composition C.

摘要: A PFA molded article of a copolymer (PFA) of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoro(alkylvinyl ether) (PAVE), the content of the PAVE therein being from 1 to 10% by mol, characterized in that the PFA molded article has a flex life value of not less than 2,000,000 times, a zero shear viscosity of from 10,000 to 20,000 Pa·s, and a heating weight loss of not more than 0.05% by weight, and a process for the production thereof. The PFA molded article has a high flex life value, a low heating weight loss and a low zero share viscosity yet maintaining excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength, etc., and can be produced in good yields.

摘要: An ultrasound-detectable polymeric device that offers superior visibility of the body of the device and decreased ultrasound angle dependence through the use of microcavities and methods of manufacturing thereof is disclosed. These microcavities enable superior ultrasound visualization due to diffuse reflection of sound waves when compared to solid polymeric objects, ensuring that a strong signal is received at the source of the ultrasound transducer and providing strong image contrast throughout the entire cross-section of the implant that is also robust to variable angles of insonation.

摘要: A polymeric composition which can be used for the manufacture of rubber articles, in general, such as soles, shoes, boots, sealing rings, rugs, footwear straps and sandals, by the same thermoplastic injection process in equipment (injectors) used for plastics without the need for vulcanization or crosslinking and with different embodiments, according to the final product of interest. The basic components of the present polymeric composition are ethylene vinyl acetate, which may be a combination of ethylene vinyl acetate having a VA content of 19% and ethylene vinyl acetate having a VA content of 28%, and a copolymer of alpha olefin ethylene.

摘要: Matrix-filled liquid radiation curable resin compositions for additive fabrication are described and claimed. Such resins include a cationically polymerizable component that is an aliphatic epoxide, a multifunctional (meth)acrylate component, a cationic photoinitiator, a free-radical photoinitiator, and a matrix of inorganic fillers, wherein the matrix further constitutes prescribed ratios of at least one microparticle constituent and at least one nanoparticle constituent. Also described and claimed is a process for using the matrix-filled liquid radiation curable resins for additive fabrication to create three dimensional parts, and the three-dimensional parts made from the liquid radiation curable resins for additive fabrication.

The multilayer foam structure is obtained by coextruding a multilayer structure comprising at least one foam composition layer, irradiating the coextruded structure with ionizing radiation, and continuously foaming the irradiated structure.

摘要: The invention relates to a polymer-coated packaging material, a method of manufacturing the same, and products, such as a disposable drinking cup, made from the material. The packaging material comprises a fibrous base (1) of paper or board, an innermost polymer layer (2) containing a blend of (i) 10 to 25 wt-% of a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and (ii) 75 to 90 wt-% of a second polyethylene with a higher melt viscosity, said second polyethylene being selected from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and an outer layer (3) of more than 90 wt-% of HDPE. An outermost layer (4) of a polymer blend similar to that used for the innermost layer (2) may be provided for heat-sealing. The layers (2, 3 and 4) may be brought and adhered to the fibrous base (1) by coextrusion. To maximize renewability of the materials HDPE and LLDPE as used for the structure are of biologic origin.
