摘要: A nonwoven web for an absorbent article is provided. The nonwoven web includes a first surface and a second surface. The nonwoven web includes a repeat unit comprising a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on the first surface or the second surface. The three-dimensional features comprise one or more first regions and a plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions are different than the plurality of second regions. The one or more first regions comprise a plurality of substantially linear segments. A first group of the plurality of substantially linear segments intersects with a second group of the plurality of substantially linear segments at angles of intersection. The angles of intersection are in the range of about 70 degrees to about 110 degrees.

摘要: [Problem to be Solved ] To attain an incombustible sound absorption panel by providing incombustibility to a sound absorption/insulation sandwich panel containing a combustible material as a constituting material.
[Solution to Problem] Fine powder of chips generated during cutting of a foam material to fill in a honeycomb material is located in a gap between the foam material and a sound absorption surface material. A gap between fibers of the sound absorption surface material is blocked by the chips having been moved by a flow such as a water vapor flow generated from hydrate of the honeycomb material heated on the occurrence of a fire. As a result, an air flow path is limited. Further, carbon dioxide gas generated from the foam material is trapped to reduce an oxygen amount, thereby inhibiting combustion. Usage of an adhesive as a combustible material is reduced.-

摘要: Geocomposite articles that can provide a barrier against high conductivity water e.g., ocean water, are described and their method of manufacture, for waterproofing surfaces that contact high conductivity water. The geocomposite article mat includes a woven or non-woven geotextile sheet or mat containing a powdered or granular partially cross-linked acrylamide/acrylate/acrylic acid copolymer across its entire major surface(s). The powdered or granular copolymer has an unexpectedly high free-swell when hydrated with High Conductivity water, such as ocean water. A liquid-impermeable cover sheet is adhered to the upper major surfaces of the filled copolymer-carrying geotextile to provide a primary high conductivity water barrier layer that, if ruptured, is sealed by the swell of an underlying layer of water-insoluble, partially cross-linked acrylamide/acrylic acid copolymer.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to roofing elements and methods for making them. In one embodiment, the disclosure provides a roofing element in the form of a roofing shingle that includes a body of a foamed cured cross-linked polymer, the body having a top surface and a bottom surface, the body extending substantially in a plane and having a thickness in the range of 0.5 mm to 35 mm; and a layer of weather-resistant roofing granules disposed on and adhered at the top surface of roofing element. The roofing element can be made by providing a body of wet foamed curable composition, and allowing the curable composition to cure to provide the body of foamed cured cross-linked polymer.

摘要: A layered structure that includes at least a first layer and a second layer is provided. The second layer includes at least one barrier layer. A bonding substance is partially disposed between the barrier layer and the first layer to create a bond between the barrier layer and the first layer. The bonding substance contains a first component that has, at 25° C., a shear modulus of not more than 3×105 Pa in accordance with the Dahlquist criterion. The bonding substance may also contain a second component having adhesive characteristics. The first component also has a low viscosity such that a force (F) between the first and second layers which acts on at least one of the layers in a force action area is distributed by a plastic flow onto an area which is larger than the force action area.

摘要: A flexible cladding wrap for an exterior or interior wall of a building, a building wall panel, and/or a building surface is provided, the flexible cladding wrap comprising a flexible facing layer including a, preferably absorbent and more preferably porous, flexible facing substrate and powdered aggregate bonded to the facing substrate; and a flexible backing layer including a flexible backing substrate to which the facing layer is attached. A system utilising said flexible cladding wrap to create a continuous aesthetic impression of the building is also provided, in addition to methods of making and using said flexible cladding wrap.
