    摘要: A pulse-width modulation device for controlling shapes of dots printed out by a printer by regulating shapes of pulses of pulse-width modulation signals, which respectively represent gray levels of pixels of input image, according to code signals respectively indicating shapes of pulses of pulse-width modulation signals, each of which has a duration composed of time slots respectively corresponding to bits of image data representing a gray level of a pixel. The pulse-width modulation device is provided with a code converter for converting image data corresponding to each pixel of an input image into a predetermined code indicating a shape of a pulse of a corresponding pulse-width modulation signal and for outputting a code signal representing the predetermined code. The indicated shape of the pulse is formed by making the corresponding pulse modulation signal have a high level at a predetermined number of time slots thereof, which are serially counted from the time slot corresponding to the most significant bit of the image data or from the time slot corresponding to the least significant bit of the image data according to a gray level of each pixel. The pulse-width modulation device is further provided with a pulse generating circuit for receiving the code signal and for generating the pulse of the predetermined pulse-width modulation signal according to the code in response to a predetermined clock signal.

    摘要: An electric charge recording/reproducing apparatus for focusing an electromagnetic radiation ray containing a recording object information signal onto a photoconductive layer member (PCL) in an electric charge image recording medium (D) comprising a laminate of at least an electric charge retention layer, member (CHL), photoconductive layer member (PCL) and a first electrode (E) using an objective lens (318) which is driven and displaced in an optical axis direction by an actuator (ACT) of an automatic focusing system; and to integratedly connect and fix a moving electrode (Em) onto the objective lens (318), the moving electrode (Em) being intended to generate an electric field for positioning the electric charge image recording medium (D) in the electric field of a predetermined electric field intensity, towards the electrode in, the electric charge image recording medium (D). The electric charge image recording medium (D) composed of a laminate of at least a first electrode (E), a photoconductive layer member (PCL), an optical modulation layer member (PML) and an electric charge retention layer member (CHL), the electric charge recording medium comprising said electric charge retention layer member (CHL) provided with an electric charge image pattern for tracking control recorded and formed.

    摘要: An electrophotography system for use in laser printers, printing machines and copying machines. The system includes a rototable drum having a photosensitive member which can take a first absorption spectrum state and a second absorption spectrum state, the variation from the first absorption spectrum state to the second absorption spectrum state being made by illuminating it with light whose intensity is above a predetermined threshold and whose wavelength is in a first predetermined wavelength region. Also included is an optical system including a light-emitting device for illumination of the photosensitive member so as to form thereon an electrostatic latent image, the optical system being arranged to directly illuminate the photosensitive member with light from the light-emitting device and further to illuminate it with reflected light from an original picture. The light-emitting device is arranged to emit light whose wavelength is in the first predetermined wavelength region and further light whose wavelength is in a second predetermined wavelength region. A control unit performs one selected from a laser-printing mode, a printing mode and a copying mode so as to form the corresponding electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive member by lights which are different in intensity and wavelength from each other.

    摘要: A reproducing apparatus reproduces a disc-shaped recording medium which is accommodated within a case. The case comprises a jacket which has a space for accommodating the disc-shaped recording medium and an opening for allowing the disc-shaped recording medium to go in and out of the jacket, and a lid member inserted through the opening of the jacket for closing the opening of the jacket. The reproducing apparatus comprises an inserting opening part through which the case is inserted into the reproducing apparatus a turntable for rotating the disc-shaped recording medium, a clamping mechanism for clamping at least one of the disc-shaped recording medium or the lid member provided at the innermost part on the opposite side from the inserting opening part with respect to the turntable a pair of guide rails provided extending between a position of the inserting opening part and a position at an innermost part of the reproducing apparatus, at right and left sides of a moving passage of the case, and slider mechanisms inserted with the pair of guide rails therethrough. The slider mechanisms are freely slidable along the pair of guide rails, and engages with the case and moves in response to the inserting and pulling out operation of the case. The slider mechanism has main slider bodies respectively inserted with the pair of guide rails therethrough, and has arm portions which oppose the upper and lower surfaces of the guide rails, and rollers provided at the arm portions of the main slider body, where the rollers roll over the guide rails.
