According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a black matrix formed between a pair of substrates and formed over a plurality of drain lines and gate lines, a plurality of spaces arranged under the black matrix, wherein a plurality of liquid crystal molecules lined to a boundary direction of the black matrix in “OFF” state, and having a first group and a second group in “ON” state, wherein a switching angle of the second group is opposite to a switching angle of the first group.

    摘要: In an IPS mode liquid crystal display device having a wide viewing angle, if a display is continued by supply of electricity, black spotted irregularities (contamination spots) occur in some cases. To prevent such phenomena, there is provided a liquid crystal display device having a liquid crystal layer and plural pixels in matrix form, which device includes a first electrode group and line group for displaying a picture, the first electrode group and line group being formed over the substrate over which the plural pixels are formed, a protective film formed between the liquid crystal layer and the first electrode group and line group, and at least one second electrode or line having either or both of a positive pole and a negative pole and formed over the protective film in the plural pixels.

    摘要: A detection signal transmitting unit 123 of a first component 110 transmits a plurality of detection signals having different frequency spectrums to a second component 210. Upon receiving the detection signals, a detection signal returning unit 233 of the second component 210 returns, as return signals, respective signal waveforms of the received detection signals to the first component 110. A detection signal judging unit 126 of the first component 110 judges authenticity of the received return signals based on the transmitted detection signals. When the judging unit judges that the received return signals are not authentic, a tamper-resistance control unit 127 adds a restriction to the communication performed between the first component 110 and the second component 210.

    摘要: In a liquid crystal display device, the reduction of power consumption is realized by reddening a backlight while maintaining a white balance. An aperture ratio of a red subpixel and an aperture ratio of a blue subpixel are set such that, in a state where an aperture ratio of a green subpixel in each pixel of a liquid crystal panel is fixed to a desired value, white brightness efficiency takes a maximum value which is set based on a balance between light emission efficiency which is increased corresponding to lowering of a color temperature of the backlight and transmissivity of the pixel which is decreased corresponding to the increase of the aperture ratio of the blue subpixel.

    摘要: A developing device includes: a frame having an opening; a developer carrying member rotatably supported to the frame; and a side seal. The developer carrying member is rotatable about its axis in a rotating direction and has an axial end portion in an axial direction. The side seal is disposed between the frame and a peripheral surface of the axial end portion, and has a contact member contacting the peripheral surface. The contact member includes: a first seal member disposed adjacent to an edge of the opening in the axial direction; and a second seal member disposed adjacent to and upstream of the first seal member in the rotating direction. The first seal member permits developer to move inward in the axial direction and provides a mobility of developer therein higher than that of the second seal member that is made of a material that restricts movement of developer.
