摘要: A position detecting apparatus includes a first illuminating unit that radiates light onto a substrate in a direction substantially parallel to the front and the rear surfaces of the substrate from the direction of a lateral face of the substrate; a second illuminating unit that radiates light onto the front surface of the substrate, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the front surface of the substrate; an image pickup unit that takes an image of the substrate from a rear surface side thereof; and an edge-position detecting unit that detects an edge position of the substrate, based on a first image that is taken while the light is being radiated from the first illuminating unit and a second image that is taken while the light is being radiated from the second illuminating unit, respectively.

摘要: An outer body of ball shell type has an opening. A camera is located in the outer body and receives an image from outside of the outer body through the opening. A camera support unit is located in the outer body and rotationally supports the camera along a first axis and a second axis mutually crossed at a center of the outer body. A first camera actuator is located in the outer body and rotationally actuates the camera around the first axis. A second camera actuator is located in the outer body and rotationally actuates the camera around the second axis.

A nitride concentration of the barrier metal film is decreased towards an interface between the barrier metal film and the conductive film, and the nitride concentration of the side of the barrier metal film is higher than the nitride concentration of the side of the conductive film at the interface.

In the actuating member, deformable parts that are thinner than the fixed parts are provided in four directions around an operating part, and strain detecting elements are attached to the deformable parts, respectively. When the operating knob is operated to deform a deformable part, the force acts only on the case, and an excessive force does not act on connecting parts between the connecting terminals, and a substrate, etc.

A variable retarder structure includes a fifth retardation plate for optical compensation of the variable retarder structure between the first retardation plate and the second retardation plate, the fifth retardation plate having a refractive index anisotropy of nx≃ny>nz.
