Abstract:
An apparatus includes a printing unit configured to eject ink from a print head onto a sheet conveyed in a direction to perform printing on the sheet; a conveying unit configured to be provided on a downstream side of the print head in the direction, and configured to include a rotating member in contact with the sheet; and a reading unit configured to read a surface of the sheet on a downstream side of the rotating member in the direction, in which information on ink adhesion to the rotating member is obtained based on a result read by the reading unit.
Abstract:
According to the present invention, each printing head includes chips wherein a plurality of nozzles are prepared. The density of dots formed by ejecting ink from the nozzles is detected for each chip, and when a density difference between the chips is smaller than a predetermined value, print data are corrected, and the number of dots is adjusted so as to reduce the density difference. When the density difference is equal to or greater than the predetermined value, first, a drive pulse for the nozzles is modulated and the volume of ink to be ejected for one dot is adjusted so as to reduce the density difference. Thereafter, the print data is corrected, and the number of dots to be formed is controlled so as to reduce the density difference.
Abstract:
In a line-head type inkjet printing apparatus that ejects a plurality of types of inks, an inkjet printing apparatus is provided in which the change of its ejection properties different depending on the type of ink is prevented from occurring. The line-head type printing apparatus includes an acquisition unit that counts the ejection number of liquid from each of print heads in each of a plurality of print heads. Furthermore, the printing apparatus compares the ejection number of liquid from each of the print heads counted by the acquisition unit with a threshold value set for each of the print heads. The printing apparatus includes a change unit that can move a holder in the main scanning direction when the counted ejection number of liquid exceeds the threshold value set for the print head.
Abstract:
A waiting time Ts is decided on the basis of ink type information and ink feed amount information, referring to waiting time table A (Step 6). Along with this, a dried printing paper is carried to and stopped in a waiting area 9 (Step 7), a time period T is measured after stopping, and measurement processing in the next step is delayed until the time period T reaches the waiting time Ts. Then, when the time period T reaches the waiting time Ts, a measuring instrument 10 is used to measure a density of a patch printed on the printing paper (Steps 8 and 9).
Abstract:
An AC-DC converter is provided which suppresses a harmonic current and improves power factor at low cost. Such an AC-DC converter includes a rectifier connected to an AC power supply via a reactor, capacitors connected in series across the output terminals of the rectifier, a first bidirectional switch having one end connected to one input terminal of the rectifier and the other end connected to a connecting point of capacitors, a second bidirectional switch having one end connected to the other input terminal of the rectifier and the other end connected to the other end of the first bidirectional switch, and a control circuit for actuating the first and second bidirectional switches during a half cycle of the AC power supply so as to control a voltage inputted to the rectifier to a desired output voltage.
Abstract:
An inkjet printing apparatus, an inkjet printing system and an inkjet printing method are provided in order to correct a print density at a joint (overlapped portion) of nozzle arrays of a print head. The print density at the joint (overlapped portion) of the nozzle arrays is corrected based on a positional deviation between two adjacent nozzle arrays of the print head.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal apparatus requests a character be displayed which is assigned to a first key upon being pushed, and if operated continuously for a time span that exceeds a predetermined time, requests a next character be displayed which is assigned to the first key instead of the character assigned to the first key and currently being displayed, if the time span exceeds the predetermined time and the character assigned to the first key and currently being displayed is a special character that has another variation, changes the character to a character of the another variation, and, when the time span exceeds the predetermined time and the character assigned to the first key and currently being displayed is not a special character, requests a new character be displayed right next to the character which is currently being displayed.
Abstract:
To protect a plastic intake manifold of an internal combstion engine from heat possessed by exhaust gas recirculation gas, a cooling device is arranged between the plastic intake manifold and an exhaust gas recirculation valve. The cooling device cools the exhaust gas recirculation gas by means of a coolant. A gas discharge part of the cooling device constitutes a pipe portion which penetrates through an exhaust gas inlet hole of the intake manifold keeping a given space between an outer wall of the pipe portion and an inner wall of the exhaust gas inlet hole. The pipe portion may be a leading end portion of an exhaust gas recirculation pipe extending from an exhaust system of the engine.
Abstract:
A power converting apparatus is obtained in which an integrated circuit for driving a power switching element is operated under stable conditions. A core 100 functioning as a common mode transformer made of a material such as ferrite is connected to a wiring line connected between a switch 7, a switch 8, and an IC 13 for opening/closing these switches 7 and 8 in a complementary manner, so that an impedance of a current path to the switch 7 and the IC 13 is increased.
