    摘要: A temperature sensing unit produces an output signal commensurate with temperature, the output signal serving as a basis for discriminating a temperature above a predetermined threshold temperature as well as a rising temperature gradient over a predetermined period of time. When means for effecting the discrimination operation senses both conditions, a temperature measuring unit begins measuring temperature on the basis of an input from the temperature sensing unit. When said measurement begins, the measuring unit raises the resolution of temperature information from the sensing unit.

    摘要: The check valve includes a valve housing, a valve body and an urging member. The valve housing has a peripheral wall and a valve seat. The peripheral wall has an opening therethrough for fluid communication. The opening is located more downstream than the valve seat. The end of the opening on the side of the valve seat is spaced at a predetermined length in a direction in which the valve body is spaced away from the valve seat. A first throttle is formed in a space between an inner peripheral surface of the valve housing and an outer peripheral surface of the valve body until the valve body is slid in the direction for the predetermined length from the state in which the valve body is seated on the valve seat.

The valve plate assembly forms suction and discharge ports and suction and discharge valves. A partition wall is formed with the housing, and separates the suction chamber and the discharge chamber. The housing includes a first surface, and the cylinder block includes a second surface. At least one of the first and second surfaces is concave in shape. The cylinder block is screwed to the housing at the partition wall or a position closer to the central axis of the housing than the partition wall by a bolt so that the first surface faces the second surface.

A coned disc spring 37 is interposed between an end face 192 of a cylinder 19 and the end face 341 of the front housing 11. When the end faces 341, 351 are caused to approach each other so as to be joined together, the coned disc spring 37 is first held by the end face 341 of the front housing 11 and the end face 192 of the cylinder 19. When the end faces 341, 351 are caused to approach each other further so as to be joined together, the gasket 36 is held between the end faces 341, 351. Thus, it is ensured that the cylinder and the seal material interposed between the first housing and the second housing are held therebetween.

    摘要: A laser recording apparatus for recording a continuous tone image on a photosensitive material by scanning the material with an analog light beam which was intensity-modulated on the basis of an image signal is disclosed. The apparatus uses a semiconductor laser as a light beam source, and the emission light level of the semiconductor laser is controlled according to an image signal by making use of the charging and discharging of a capacitor and without making use of the well-known APC circuit. Thus, the apparatus is free from the problem of circuit oscillation that arises when using an APC circuit and permits a repeatedly increasing and decreasing emission light level instruction signal to be followed by the semiconductor emission light level accurately and with a satisfactory response speed, so that it is possible to record a continuous tone image at a high speed and with high accuracy.
