    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell having a structure capable of generating a large cell output power. According to the present invention, there is provided a fuel cell including an anode for oxidizing liquid fuel, a cathode for reducing oxygen, an electrolyte membrane provided between the above described anode and the above described cathode, a fuel chamber for storing liquid fuel to be fed to the above described anode, and a unit for ventilating between the outside and the inside of the fuel chamber and for blocking liquid, wherein the pressure inside the fuel chamber is higher than the pressure outside the fuel chamber.

    摘要: The invention relates to an ionization detector comprising a discharge section which generates ultraviolet rays and a detector section which collects ionic current caused or altered by the photoionization of a sample gas with the ultraviolet radiation. A container holds the two sections together and a pointed cathode is spaced at least several millimeters from an anode in order that the electric discharge may be executed as field-emission discharge.
