    摘要: A fluid dispensing oral care implement having a low profile pump includes a head, a reservoir for storing an oral care fluid, at least one liquid outlet in the head, and a pump. The pump includes a flexible membrane movable between alternating pump intake and discharge motions. The pump includes inlet and outlet flap valves, which may be formed integrally from portions of the membrane. In one embodiment, the valves are integrally formed in the membrane as flexible cantilevered tabs movable between open and closed positions. In some embodiments, the pump may be mounted in the toothbrush head or forms the head. In some embodiments, the pump may be disposed in a neck or a handle portion of the toothbrush.

The first processed image and the second processed image are blended in a processing unit to form a composite image.

    摘要: A mechanical energy harvesting toothbrush may employ circuits and devices to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. Such conversion can be done using piezoelectric devices to convert stresses and strains from bending of the toothbrush head and/or bristles during use, and can be done using electromagnetic generators involving passing a magnet through a coil to induce current. The resulting electric energy may be rectified, and stored in a storage device, such as a capacitor or rechargeable battery. A switching circuit may be configured to detect the level of energy stored in the storage device, and to close an electrical connection when a predetermined level of energy (e.g., a charge) has been reached. The predetermined level may correspond to a desired amount of brushing. The closing of the electrical connection may be used to power output devices when that desired amount of brushing has been reached.

    摘要: An image sensing system provides for accurate lens shading correction even when there is significant lens shading asymmetry and non-uniformity. A two-dimensional B-spline technique is used to determine lens shading correction surfaces. The number of zones is selected to achieve accurate correction of center, edge, and corner regions of an image. Separate lens shading correction surfaces are calculated for a set of standard illuminants to permit lens shading correction to be adapted based on the illuminant used to capture the image.
