The device for leveling playing fields comprises a main frame mechanically coupled to a front skid and a rear skid and a blade assembly where the blade assembly further comprises cutting blades driven by a blade drive chain mechanically coupled to an engine. The main frame is further mechanically coupled to a lawn tractor such that a user can drive the lawn tractor over a playing field and use the front skid to knock the turf in hills loose, the cutting blades both manicure the playing field and cut loose turf which can be pushed by the rear skid into valleys.

摘要： Disclosed is a synthetic athletic field grooming apparatus configured to be pulled by a vehicle to maintain the synthetic athletic field. The apparatus comprises a frame having a coupling mechanism for mounting the apparatus to the vehicle. At least one broom channel is coupled to the frame rearward of the coupling mechanism, and forward and aft rows of brushes are attached to the broom channel. The aft row of brushes is spaced apart from and rearward of the forward row of brushes to allow infill of the synthetic athletic field to flick upward from the forward row while containing the infill for re-agitation from the aft row. The coupling mechanism and the frame allow an attached vehicle to control a downward pressure forcing the rows of brushes into contact with the synthetic athletic field with a desired force. Also disclosed is a method of grooming a synthetic athletic field.

摘要： An aeration core pulverizer for crushing aeration cores created by turf aeration devices and for dispersing the resulting particulate so as to be reintegrated with the ground, and so that remaining tufts of grass may be easily blown away or removed during mowing. The aeration core pulverizer may include a carriage for mounting a plurality of rows of tines, a brush assembly and a mat, each of which are positioned on the carriage in an arrangement which serves to crush the aeration cores into increasingly smaller pieces. In addition, the rows of tines, the brush assembly and the mat are designed to cooperate together to distribute the particulate across the surface of the ground. The carriage may further include a shaft for mechanically securing the aeration core pulverizer to any suitably designed vehicle, such that it may be pulled across the surface of a turf.

摘要： A turf sweeping machine having a frame, front and rear wheels coupled to the frame and an elongated chute mounted to the frame, the chute having an exit and an entrance at a level proximate to the grass of the turf. Rubber skirts are affixed to the chute and extend down to the grass of the turf across front, rear, and side walls of the chute. A rotatable brush is mounted to the frame, proximate to a bottom of the chute and extends across a width of the frame so that the brush brushes grass of a turf support surface. A hopper, which is also mounted on the frame, has an opening in fluid communication with the exit of the chute, and is positioned to receive material swept up the chute by the brush. A means for rotating the brush is provided. A partial vacuum is created by rotation of the brush within the confines of the skirts and chute. This vacuum assists the brush in picking up waste material from the support surface.

The apparatus includes a main frame having mountings for coupling to the propelling vehicle and a grass treatment unit mounted on the main frame. A side frame is adjustably mounted on the main frame and has a grass treatment unit mounted thereon. The main frame has a mounting recess for receiving the side frame. A power operated device couples the side frame to the main frame and adjusts the side frame between an outwardly deployed position in which it is laterally spaced from the main frame and an inwardly deployed position in which the side frame is received by the mounting recess.
