摘要： An apparatus and system for inducing stimulation of muscles within the mouth. The apparatus includes a housing having a controller. A muscular contact member extends from the housing and is configured to contact muscles within the mouth, including for example the palate and the tongue. A vibrating device cooperates with the controller and muscular contact member to transmit vibration to the muscular contact member and in turn to muscles within the mouth. In the system, such an apparatus is provided that is rechargeable. A storage base receives the rechargeable apparatus when it is not in use and includes a battery charger. The storage base also optionally includes disinfecting means for cleaning the muscular contact member.

The massage effect stimulates the flow of blood and draining of lymphatic fluid and increases the effect of the electromagnetic low-frequency treatment.

摘要： An electric periodontal massager having a housing and a first shaft rotatably disposed therein about an axis. An electric motor is provided for rotating the shaft and a crank is disposed on the other end of the shaft. A second shaft having a rubber or resilient massaging tip thereon is provided for periodontal usage. The other end of the second shaft is resiliently attached to the housing. A resilient linkage has one end thereof attached to the crank of the first shaft and the other end thereof disposed around an intermediate portion of the second shaft whereby rotation of the first shaft by the electric motor causes the first end of the second shaft and thereby the resilient massaging tip to move for applying chemicals to and massaging gum tissue.

摘要： A gum massage device includes a soft tipped wand connected to a power unit. The power unit has a rotary shaft that is engaged in a socket in the base of the wand. The socket is angularly offset from the normal axis of the shaft and wand, and a member is connected between the wand and power unit to resiliently hold the shaft and wand in axial alignment. Rotation of the shaft caused the wand to oscillate in a desirable gum massaging motion.
