The clamping chuck has a receiving opening for the clamping element and clamping members for clamping the clamping element in the receiving opening. The clamping element is elongated, while the clamping chuck is provided with an elongated receiving opening for the clamping element. A resiliently flexible centering element, which aligns the clamping element in response to the insertion into the receiving opening at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the receiving opening, is arranged on the clamping chuck in the insertion area of the receiving opening. Such a clamping device is suitable in clamping systems by means of which large to very large workpiece carriers can be clamped in the work area of a machine tool in a repeatably accurate manner.

    摘要: A sheet film forming roll is manufactured by processing a thin cylindrical work used as an external cylinder of the sheet film forming roll by holding the thin cylindrical work using a holding jig and machining an outer peripheral surface of the thin cylindrical work. The holding jig includes a holding member, a diameter changing unit, and a pair of circular side plates. The holding member is made of a metal and has a cylindrical shape and an elastically expandable or contractible diameter. An outside diameter of the holding member is held smaller than an inside diameter of the thin cylindrical work for insertion of the holding member into an inner periphery of the thin cylindrical work and expanded after insertion of the holding member into the inner periphery of the thin cylindrical work to hold the thin cylindrical work from an inner peripheral side of the thin cylindrical work.

The device comprises a hub (101) and a ring (102) which are concentric and arranged rotatably relative to each other. On the hub there is at least one first control point (111, 111′, 111″), and on the ring there is at least one second control point (112, 112′, 112″), which control points are arranged at different axial levels (151,152). At least one tensioning member (121,122,123) is arranged to interact with the at least one first control point and with the at least one second control point during the rotation, such that the at least one tensioning member is stretched across the air gap (130) in the device. The different axial levels for the at least one first control point and the at least one second control point mean that the at least one tensioning member can freely pass over the at least one first control point during the rotation and can be stretched across the air gap towards the object. Substantially any desired angle of rotation between the hub and the ring can be obtained in this way.

The extension assembly includes a flexible, solid core rod having first and second ends and a holding means. The holding means is secured to the second end of the rod for releasably holding a tool bit for rotation with the rod and includes a sleeve adapted to slide axially along a body of the holding means between a secured position where a tool bit is securely held within the holding means and a release position where the tool bit is released from the holding means.

    摘要: A tool holder includes a body, a cutting head having a cutting end portion and a tapered end portion, a retention knob located at the tapered end portion of the cutting head, and a ball clamping mechanism received in an aperture of the body. The ball clamping mechanism includes an upper clamp, a lower clamp, and a double-ended clamp screw threaded onto the upper and lower clamps. Rotation of the clamp screw in a one direction causes the upper clamp and the lower clamp to move toward each other and engage the retention knob to place the tool holder in a locked position, and rotation of the clamp screw in an opposite direction causes the upper clamp and the lower clamp to move away from each other such that the upper and lower clamps no longer engage the retention knob to place the tool holder in a unlocked position.
