    摘要: Unique imagewise exposed and developed originating color silver halide photographic elements can be processed with bleaching and/or fixing solutions. The element is characterized by several important features. It contains a silver halide grain population of at least 50 mole percent chloride, based on total silver forming the grain population projected area, wherein at least 50 percent of total grain projected area is accounted for by intrinsically stable tabular grains (1) bounded by {100} major faces having adjacent edge ratios of less than 10, and (2) an aspect ratio of at least 2. Also, at least 50 mole % of the element silver halide is silver chloride, and no more than 2 mole % silver iodide. It also contains a bleach accelerator releasing compound. The element is also free of a desilvering rate retarding amount of a development inhibitor releasing compound having a free sulfur valence which binds to silver.

    摘要: A process is disclosed of preparing an emulsion for photographic use comprised of silver halide grains and a gelatino-peptizer dispersing medium in which morphologically unstable tabular grains having {111} major faces account for greater than 50 percent of total grain projected area and contain at least 50 mole percent chloride, based on silver. The emulsion additionally contains at least one 2-hydroaminoazine adsorbed to and morphologically stabilizing the tabular grains. Protonation releases 2-hydroaminoazine from the tabular grain surfaces into the dispersing medium. Released 2-hydroaminoazine is replaced on the tabular grain surfaces by adsorption of a photographically useful benzimidazolium dye, thereby concurrently morphologically stabilizing the tabular grains and enhancing their photographic utility, and the released 2-hydroaminoazine is removed from the dispersing medium.

    摘要: In a telemanipulation system for manipulating objects located in a workspace at a remote worksite by an operator from an operator's station, such as in a remote surgical system, the remote worksite having a manipulator with an end effector for manipulating an object at the workspace, such as a body cavity, a controller including a hand control at the control operator's station for remote control of the manipulator, an image capture device, such as a camera, and image output device for reproducing a viewable real-time image, the improvement wherein a position sensor associated with the image capture device senses position relative to the end effector and a processor transforms the viewable real-time image into a perspective image with correlated manipulation of the end effector by the hand controller such that the operator can manipulate the end effector and the manipulator as if viewing the workspace in true presence. Image transformation according to the invention includes translation, rotation and perspective correction.
