    摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for detecting an arc in a DC circuit. The method includes measuring and analyzing an AC component (IAC) of a current (I) flowing in the circuit and determining at least one parameter of the AC component (IAC). The level of a DC component (IDC) of the current (I) is varied and a degree of correlation between the level of the DC component (IDC) of the current (I) flowing in the DC circuit and the at least one parameter of the AC component (IAC) is determined. An arc is detected and selectively signaled based on the degree of the determined correlation. The disclosure also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method and to an inverter comprising such an apparatus.

    摘要: A pressure sensor for detecting an electric arc in an electrical switchboard, the sensor being in an enclosed case containing a conical opening, the case being placed in the switchboard. A pressure switch in the sensor is attached to the interior of the case and is electrically connected to a circuit board for transmitting a signal when a contact in the pressure switch is closed. When a pressure wave created by the electric arc enters the case through the conical opening it forces a contact on the pressure switch to close thereby completing a circuit with the circuit board which transmits the signal to, for example, a central processor, to turn off the source of electricity thereby quenching the electric arc.

The lightwave guide is arranged relative to the pair(s) of switching contacts, such that the intensity of the light injected in the lightwave guide, which is measured by the detector, decreases in the switching appliance as the number of wear particles of contacts generated by the wear of the contacts increases.

    摘要: Disclosed is a device for detecting a partial discharge of power equipment. EM (electromagnetic wave) sensors detect EM signals from a partial discharge in a metal clad switchgear, a power cable, and a GIS. EM detectors amplify the signals from the sensors, and output only noise-removed IF signals. A pulse generator integrates the IF-processed EM to compare the integrated value with a previous value, and outputs a pulse according to a partial discharge. An EM level processor compares the IF-processed EM with reference voltages to output EM pulses of a plurality of levels. A waveform shaper shapes the pulses. A controller calculates the average number of pulses per 1 cycle by counting the partial discharge pulses for a predetermined time, receives the waveform-shaped pulses to calculate the partial discharge amount, and transmits the calculated amount, combined with the average number, to an external monitoring system.
