    摘要: A design for a winding is based on a material of low electrical resistance, such as copper, and of a diameter typically greater than 90 mm, intended to generate a magnetic field in an electrical contact for a medium voltage vacuum circuit-breaker. The winding includes a hollow cylinder including helical slots that are empty of material, arranged in parallel around its longitudinal axis, and that open out both to the hollow and to the outside of the cylinder. The angular length of each helical slot is equal to at least 360°. The design makes it possible to increase the level of the axial magnetic field (AMF) obtained by the winding(s) incorporated into an electrical contact of a vacuum circuit-breaker while improving uniformity, symmetry of the field, and production cost.

    摘要: A fixed electrode 10 and a movable electrode have coil electrodes formed of plural coil portions installed at both contacts and on a rear surface side in a divided manner in a circumferential direction along peripheries of the contacts such that a longitudinal field is generated in a direction in which the fixed contact and the movable contact come close to and move apart from each other. Protruding portions joined to the contacts are provided to tip ends of the respective coil portions to form joint portions to the respective contacts. A current to be flowed is controlled by changing resistance values between the contacts and the coil electrodes for each joint portion.

    摘要: A switching contact is disclosed for vacuum interrupters, having a radial or axial magnetic field. In at least one embodiment, the switching contact includes a switching contact carrier and a contact plate. The switching contact carrier contains a coil for generating a magnetic field, said coil being formed by slitting the wall of a pot-like contact carrier. The outer diameter of the slitted wall of the pot-like carrier is smaller than the diameter of the contact plate located thereon. The switching contact is also provided with an annular supporting body which is inserted between the contact plate and the base of the contact carrier and surrounds the contact carrier at least in the slitted region. A vacuum gap is provided between the outer supporting body and the slitted wall.

    摘要: For a low-pressure gas discharge switch, at least two main electrodes are arranged at least a distance d from each other, the electrodes in an arcing chamber forming a cathode and an anode of a discharge path for the low-pressure gas discharge. The gas discharge is triggered by increasing the electron density in a cathode cavity, at least the cathode in its disk-shaped area having at least one aperture, the cathode and anode apertures preferably being opposite and aligned with each other, for triggering the discharge. An arrangement generating a magnetic field superimposed on the discharge between the main electrodes (1, 1a, 2, 2a) are assigned to the main electrodes (1, 1a, 2, 2a), with which either a predominantly parallel magnetic field is generated or a predominantly perpendicular one, with regard to the direction of current in the discharge. The magnetic field generator may include slot arrangements (11, 11′, 21, 21′) in hollow cylinders (1b, 2b), which are part of the anode (1) and cathode (2) configured as hollow electrodes, or may be realized in the associated current supply lines.
