    摘要: A driven tool includes a driven part which is rotatably driven by a drive part. The driven part and the drive part are coaxially arranged one inside of the other. The drive part and the driven part are conical as viewed in a longitudinal section plane containing the axis. The driven part includes driven teeth projecting generally radially with respect to the axis and received in respective radially-open recesses formed in the drive part. Each of the driven teeth makes contact with a wall of the respective recess at first and second contact places which are respectively situated on opposite sides of a generally radial line of symmetry of the driven tooth. The contact places are operable to transmit a drive force from the drive part to the driven part in respective directions of rotation. A driving angle in the range of null5null to null45null is formed at each contact place.

There is also provided an intermediate ring (40), which fits onto that axial portion of the sleeve (30) involving said rib (33) and has an annular cavity which surrounds the outer surface of the sleeve (30) and is divided into at least two separate sectors (43a, 43b) by radial baffles (44), of which a first sector (43a) is arranged to receive said rib (33) of the sleeve (30) as an exact fit, and the second sector (43b) is arranged to receive the axial element (25) as an exact fit.

    摘要: A hydraulic pump includes a pump mechanism having a driven shaft. The driven shaft is connected to an input shaft by a flexible coupling such as a splined connection. A housing extends completely around the driven shaft, and a high-pressure seal is disposed between the housing and the input shaft. A thrust bearing carries hydraulic axial forces on the input shaft to the housing. This arrangement provides balanced hydraulic forces on both ends of the driven shaft, thereby reducing friction and wear.

The drive configuration comprises inner driven surfaces on the sawblade which are driven by the drive spline which has outer drive recesses complementary to the inner driven surfaces of the sawblade. First and second radials extend outwardly from the axis of rotation of the drive spline and sawblade. They extend so as to contact the ends of a respective recess or drive surface most closely located to the axis of rotation. Second and third radials extend to contact the ends of the most remotely located recess or drive surface. The angular distance between the first and second radials is greater than the angular distance between the third and fourth radials.

    摘要: A lock follower, particularly a handle or pressure follower, comprises a hub part consisting of a machined rod-like or tubular material and an arm part consisting of a punched sheet-metal material. The parts are rigidly joined together by flow of material from the arm part to a peripheral groove in the hub part. Preferably the hub part exhibits in the neighborhood of the groove a portion of smaller diameter than the main portion of the hub but of larger diameter than the hole for the hub part in the arm part. Said portion is pressed so far into the hole in the arm part while deforming the material defining the hole that the arm part abuts an abutment in the hub part. Further, the portion of the hub located between the peripheral groove and the abutment preferably has axially extending ridges around the periphery thereof to facilitate flow of material and rigidly securing the two parts together in both axial and circumferential direction.

    摘要: A faucet handle assembly has a skirt attached to an insert which is in turn secured to a faucet stem. The skirt has a plurality of ribs each of which has a shoulder portion positioned so the top part of the rib extends over the lower part of the rib. The insert has two sets of different size notches. Each set of notches can be aligned in registry with the ribs. The shoulder portion of the rib engages the top surface of the flange adjacent the edge of one size notches. Another size notches are sufficiently large to fit the top part of the ribs within the notches. When the large notches engage the plurality of ribs, the top section of the skirt is supported by the flange abutting thereto. The skirt height can be adjusted through a choice of notches which engage the plurality of ribs.
