    摘要: A cable feeder for feeding cables through a structure according to some embodiments of the disclosure includes a housing having a drive roller attached thereto, and idler roller assembly attached to the housing. In an embodiment, the idler roller assembly can be released from the housing to allow cable to be released from the cable feeder. In an embodiment, the housing is formed from upper and lower housings, and the position of the lower housing and idler roller assembly can be adjusted relative to the upper housing and drive roller.

    摘要: A strip is fastened to an edge of a textile piece by first advancing strip of the ribbon in a direction parallel to the strip of ribbon from a supply. Then a leading end of the strip is gripped a first nip point while advancing additional ribbon from the ribbon supply. The strip is then gripped at a second nip point upstream of the first nip point at a trailing end of the strip. The ribbon is then severed upstream in the strip-travel direction of the second nip point to separate the strip from the ribbon into a sufficient length between the first nip point and the second nip points. The leading or trailing end is then pivoted about at least one pivot axis relative to the other end and positioned near or on the other end, which is then fastened to the edge of the textile piece.

    摘要: A wire feeder for a welding system has an automatically generated clamping force on welding wire. The wire feeder includes a drivestand having a lower feed roll. An upper feed roll is positionable adjacent to the lower roll, the upper and lower rolls being configured to receive a wire therebetween. A motor includes an output motor shaft, the lower roll being connected to the output motor shaft. A connecting arm is attached to the upper roll, and attached to the drivestand at a first end. An arm is attached to the connecting arm at a second end, and coupled to the motor. The arm and the connecting arm draw the upper roll towards the lower roll in response to a torque applied by the motor, such that the upper and lower rolls generate a clamping force for the wire, the clamping force being proportional to a torque of the motor.

    摘要: A welding wire feeder including an alignment tongue and groove connection between a clamp arm and a welding drive assembly housing is provided. In certain embodiments, an alignment tongue extends from an end of the clamp arm opposite a pivot point about which the clamp arm rotates relative the assembly housing. A corresponding alignment groove may be formed in the assembly housing to receive the alignment tongue when the clamp arm is rotated such that a drive wheel mounted on the clamp arm contacts a drive wheel mounted on the assembly housing. In addition, a tensioner may be pivoted into a groove in the clamp arm to transfer a compressive force through the clamp arm, forcing the drive wheels together. The alignment tongue and groove may reduce lateral displacement of the clamp arm relative to the assembly housing that may be caused by a force transferred to the clamp arm as the tensioner is pivoted.

    摘要: A self-actuating tension head for a strapping machine for feeding a steel strapping material around a load, tensioning the strapping material and sealing the strapping material to itself has a tension wheel biasing element. The tension head includes a body defining a strap path therethrough, a drive wheel, a tension wheel and a pinch wheel. The strap path extends between the tension wheel and the pinch wheel. The drive wheel is a fixed distance from the tension wheel. The drive and tension wheels are operably engaged with one another. A pivoting link operably connects the drive and tension wheels. The link pivots about the drive wheel axis of rotation. A cam is operably mounted to the tension wheel, and engages a cam follower to pivot the link to move the tension wheel into and out of engagement with the pinch wheel. The tension wheel biasing element cooperates with the cam to maintain the cam in a position relative to the cam follower.
