摘要: A strip is fastened to an edge of a textile piece by first advancing strip of the ribbon in a direction parallel to the strip of ribbon from a supply. Then a leading end of the strip is gripped a first nip point while advancing additional ribbon from the ribbon supply. The strip is then gripped at a second nip point upstream of the first nip point at a trailing end of the strip. The ribbon is then severed upstream in the strip-travel direction of the second nip point to separate the strip from the ribbon into a sufficient length between the first nip point and the second nip points. The leading or trailing end is then pivoted about at least one pivot axis relative to the other end and positioned near or on the other end, which is then fastened to the edge of the textile piece.

摘要: An apparatus for cutting sheets from an elongated workpiece is operated by first closing a pair of grippers on a workpiece leading end in an upper station and then cutting off the leading end of the workpiece to leave a sheet held in the grippers. The grippers holding the sheet are then moved downward and in an output direction to align the sheet with an output plane and pass the sheet to an output conveyor. The grippers are opened to release the cut-off sheet to the output conveyor for displacement of the sheet away in the output direction. Then the upper gripper is moved downstream in the output direction until it is out from underneath the input station and the lower gripper is moved oppositely upstream in the output direction until it is out from underneath the released sheet on the output conveyor. The upper gripper is moved upward to immediately above the upper plane and the lower gripper upward to immediately below the upper plane. Finally the upper gripper is moved upstream in the output direction until it is above the input station and the lower gripper is moved downstream in the output direction until it is underneath the input station. After the sheet has been moved out of the input station the leading end of the workpiece is advanced on the input plane into the input station so the cycle can be repeated.

摘要: A double chain stitch is made has by first pushing a needle carrying a needle thread down through goods to be seamed to form below a lower face of the goods a needle-thread loop and then passing a looper carrying a looper thread transversely to a stitching direction parallel to the face through the loop below the lower face to pass the looper thread through the needle-thread loop. Then the looper thread and needle-thread loop are gathered on an element below the lower face and the element is moved with the gathered needle and looper threads away from the needle and looper generally parallel to the face while advancing the goods in the direction to form with the needle-thread loop and looper thread a window. Thereafter the needle is again passed through the window and the gathered needle and looper threads are released from the element so that they engage around the most recently formed needle loop. The steps are then repeated.

摘要: To implement a process for operating a device for making labels from strip material with a roll (1) of strip material, a feed device (2, 3) for the strip material, clamping tongs (16) to take the end of the strip from the feed device, a folding sheet (23) which inserts the strip between the jaws of positioning tongs (8) which transfer it to a processing device, and a separating device (7) to separate the strip from the strip material, by means of which strips of different lengths can be simply folded and processed, it is proposed that the movement cycles of the components of the device are controlled in such a way that, after the end of the strip has been transferred to the clamping device, first of all the folding device advances towards the positioning device, then the separating device (7) separates the strip from the strip material upstream of the feed device (2, 3) and either the positioning device closes and secures the folded strip while the folding device returns to the initial position, or after the strip has been separated the folding device advances until the strip is unfolded, when the positioning device closes and the folding device returns to the initial position.

摘要: A piece of textile goods is selvedged along an edge extending between ends of the piece by gripping a strip of the piece offset from the edge and displacing it parallel to the edge at a constant travel speed such that successive portions of the edge pass through a plurality of folding stations followed by a sewing station. The edge is folded over as it passes through the folding stations and the folded-over edge is stitched together in the sewing station. The portions are gripped in each station upstream of the sewing station as they pass through. To eliminate an out-of-square condition the gripped portion is advanced when it is adjacent one end of the goods at a speed that is greater than the constant travel speed, the gripped portion is advanced when it is adjacent the other end of the goods at a speed which is less than the constant travel speed, and the gripped portion is advanced when it is offset the ends of the goods at a speed which is substantially equal to the constant travel speed.

摘要: An automatic bobbin-winding machine, in particular for lockstitch machines, comprises a changing head (27) with pneumatically driven gripping levers (30,31) for removing the lower part (35) of the bobbin case holder from the sewing machine. The changing head (27) can pivot or oscillate about various axes (39,40,41) and move on a carriage (26). It cooperates with a magazine (22) arranged alongside the axis (39). A second changing head (27') which can pick up empty and full bobbins (2) alternately may also be arranged on the carriage (26).

摘要: A gripper pulls a web off a supply downstream through upstream and downstream clamps. The upstream clamp is closed on the web and a piece is cut off its end. Then the gripper is moved back upstream to form the cut-off piece into a dependent loop while the lower part of the downstream clamp is held down and back out of the way so it does not contact the dependent loop. Once the gripper has moved upstream passed the lowered downstream clamp part, it is raised and advanced downstream to press the web against the upper downstream clamp part. Then both clamps are displaced transversely to move the web as a dependent loop transversely away.

摘要: An apparatus for advancing positions of a web material has a first transporter at which the pieces are separated from a web, a clamp which transfers the pieces to the plane of a second transporter and a second transporter operating in this plane in a direction orthogonal to the displacement direction of the first transporter. The second transporter has at least one conveyor at least part of which is movable toward and away from the clamp and toward which the clamp can be moved so that the pieces are transferred to the conveyor and can be displaced by the latter with no spacing between them or with only a limited spacing between them.

摘要: Via a textile guide system for flat textile goods, the textile goods are fed by a continuous conveyor to processing stations and the textile web is fed between conveyor elements of the continuous conveyor and a stationary support whereby means is provided to press the textile web against the stationary support and whereby each pressing member has a vertical guide means in which a housing-fixed holding pin engages and apart from the guide means at least one pressing spring means is provided whereby the noise formation is largely suppressed. The vertical guide means is close to the oncoming end of the pressing member approached by the conveyor and the pressing spring means is arranged close to the downstream end of the pressing means.
