摘要： A centrifugal fluid pump comprising a driven rotary assembly having at least two pumping stages operatively associated therewith and rotatable therewith as said rotary assembly is driven, each stage including a plurality of circumferentially spaced hydraulic cylinders operatively interconnected between a fluid supply tank that furnishes the respective hydraulic cylinders with the fluid and a pressure tank adapted to receive fluid under pressure from the respective hydraulic cylinders as the rotary assembly is driven. In operation, fluid is drawn into the hydraulic cylinders, and as the rotary assembly is driven the respective pistons of the hydraulic cylinders are driven radially outward causing fluid disposed on the outer sides thereof to be forced outwardly from the hydraulic cylinders under the influence of the centrifugal force generated by the rotary assembly. The pressure of the output fluid system is compounded by connecting the individual cylinders in series wherein the output of one cylinder is the input of an adjacently series connected cylinder. During this process, fluid is pumped from a supply tank through respective hydraulic cylinders of the pumping system, into a fluid pressure tank, the pressure of the fluid in the pressure tank being substantially greater than the pressure of the fluid in the supply tank as a result of the centrifugal force applied against the fluid as the rotary assembly is driven. It follows that the energy associated with the pressurized fluid can be harnessed by any suitable means, such as by pumping the pressurized fluid through a conventional hydraulic motor or using the pressurized fluid to drive some other fluid operated power generating mechanism.

摘要： A radial piston machine wherein the slide block is movable radially of the cylinder block to thereby change the strokes of pistons in the cylinder bores of the cylinder block by means of a control system which employs a differential piston mounted in the housing for the cylinder block so as to be movable axially in parallelism with one end face of the slide block. The means for transmitting motion from the differential piston to the slide block constitutes a pin which is secured to the differential piston and extends into an endless groove in the one end face of the slide block or a lever which is pivotably mounted in the housing and is pivoted by the differential piston to thereby change the radial position of the slide block by way of a Ushaped entraining element. During radial movement, the slide block rolls along one of two parallel internal guide surfaces of the housing. Two rotary piston machines can be mounted adjacent and in mirror symmetry with respect to each other and their cylinder blocks can be driven by or drive a single shaft which is connected with one of the cylinder blocks in such a way that the respective housing can be pivoted away from the other housing.

摘要： A radial piston machine wherein the peripheral surface of the pintle has a high-pressure chamber and a low-pressure chamber located diametrically opposite the high-pressure chamber. The chambers are flanked by pairs of axially aligned recesses machined into the peripheral surface of the pintle and forming two groups each of which includes a pair of recesses adjacent to the high-pressure chamber and a pair of recesses adjacent to the low-pressure chamber. A regulating valve in the pintle can connect the high-pressure chamber with the recesses of at least one group during each revolution of the cylinder block so as to center the cylinder block on the pintle if the width of the gap between the pintle and cylinder block at a first point differs from the width of the gap at a second point located diametrically opposite the first point. The spool of the regulating valve is shiftable from a neutral position against the opposition of one or more springs when the fluid pressure at one of the two points of the gap exceeds the pressure at the other point. This increases the fluid pressure in the one group of recesses so that the fluid changes the radial position of the cylinder block as long as the pressure at the first point of the gap differs from the pressure at the second point of the gap.

摘要： An hydraulic motor having an assemblage of pistons and cylinders rotatable on a stationary pintle presenting a ring of fluid supply and exhaust ports is provided with an intervening porting ring which rotates with the piston and cylinder assemblage. The porting ring is accurately machined to a precise running fit on the pintle. Flexible sealing means is provided in a gap between the porting ring and the piston and cylinder assemblage. This gap absorbs any build-up of more generous tolerances in other parts of the motor, and simplifies manufacture. The gap also accommodates any angular misalignment between the axes of the pintle and the rotatable assemblage. The ring may be fluid pressure balanced to reduce distortion of the ring.

Ths piston members each have a longitudinal second center line which intersects the circle and the axis of rotation of the respective pistons enter into and exit from the respective chambers in longitudinal direction of the first center lines of the chambers.
